As there has been some confusion and uncertainty around something that has been coming up a bit recently, I have decided to add a new site rule.


3.a. The creator of a thread may set their own ground rules for the thread. For example "this is a thread for apple pictures, don't post pictures of oranges". People should be expected to abide by this, within reason. Feel free to create a separate thread to post your "inter-fruit apple and orange gangbang" pics. Thread creators should NOT expect our moderators to be their personal servants in making sure that a thread doesn't get too far off topic.

This is not about censorship or limiting what you can post, but rather about being respectful to one another and not derailing threads when a thread creator has made it clear that they want the thread to stay on topic.
Also, don't try to find ways to abuse the rule or use it in personal attacks against others.

Theres already a new style but its partially broken, I didnt expect him to actually use the example I linked. I was thinking of more along the lines of just copy the current style and just swaping the css and images out for something darker.

Reason I said "need entries" not edit(its empty from the looks), yea its highly unattractive like the pimple on my ass. If you already have to fix enough **** you might as well go the whole nine yards and tweak the damn thing also reply buttons needs its own image set.

Well the new coloring is ok, but it seems there still a bit of work needed. It is broken in many ways, are we the test subjects for this?

I take it back about not having anything constructive; the fonts are smaller in the dark theme, by a great deal. makes it difficult to read. in the forums, I mean. it's like it went from a 7 to 3.

Go to the dropdown menu at the bottom of the page and choose "AMV Hell Dark" for the new style. Thankfully, it's optional. In fact, I'm still using the old style out of preference.

It looks like its not possible for me to fully style the profile pages because user customization options exist there. So I enabled that setting so that you can customize it.

First, click "Customize my profile". Next, click on the colored box next to "page background", which is in your general section. Then, put in the URL of your picture, click submit, and then press save.

This is what happens when I click the side drop down arrow that's next to every user's name.
Also, the auto complete function appears below the chatbox, instead of as a drop down selection like it's suppose to.
It's pretty obvious that the box around the input box is much to big and I'm pretty sure that "X" above it is not suppose to be there.
It's important to note though, all these problems you see in the image above, only appear on the full page chatbox.

The archive also doesn't look as it should, we don't have the ability to edit a users chat or even remove them once they've dropped out of the chat box and into the archive.(there's no check boxes like in the image below either)

The only real alternative is to maybe replace the quick search with a google search (while still leaving the advanced search to use the vbulletin search engine).
However this does have a downside, in that google is not able to index parts of the site that are restricted to registered users. So a google search would only return results from parts of the forum.
