So I got this idea that it'd be a good idea if we got together and watched some movies together. You know, streaming stuff and whatnot. If it pleases the non-existent jury I'd like to start of with being the first streamer. People can get together in this thread to suggest movies and people who should stream it.
this all needs a little bit perfecting but I'm sure as reasonable adults(or adolescents whatever you may call it) we can figure stuff out. This could also be done for new series or whatnot. This is not realy meant as a providing service but more of a little online get-together.

Yeah, it was pretty amusing. Not great and a little too much like a Michael Bay movie, seeing as how they started using the fast space combat instead of the submarine-esque battle style, but still interesting.

From my list, I'll have to go with the original "Gojira", it's not treated as a monster movie, it's treated as a tragic disaster with scenes eerily reminiscent of what happened after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and that's sort of the point. It's a message against nuclear weapons, hell, super weapons in general. And it's one of my all time favorite movies.
Of course, if no one wants to see it, I understand, In which cause I'll throw my lot in with Haar's suggestion of Battle Royale B-)

ok sorry guys that stuff took so long but I recently got Mass Effect 2 and I've been playing that for about 3 days straight (minus the usual breaks of eating, helping out building a sunroom on our terrace and 8 hours of sleep). So anyway...
I've got the following suggestion for how we choose movies from now on out.

people come up and say hey I want to stream this movie and then I'll put a poll up for the first 5 people that respond and then we vote using the poll about who is gonna stream what at a date and time they specify.

oh and Guthix you can just download the procaster on livestream no problem and get started. You do have to make an account on it though.
But there are tons of websites for streaming, you just have to look around a bit.

And I'm seeing Haar is helping you out as well.
But if anyone wants to I can stream a certain movie of your guys' liking as well. We did that on the first go when I streamed Gojira for Kaiju and on the second when I streamed Battle Royale. But we'll figure something out.

Seems that the file was corrupted so it was virtually impossible to watch quality cinema tonight.

Now in other news I've figured out what went wrong yesterday. Turns out that MPCHC doesn't properly support 10 bit encoding, so I'm gonna be busy trying to fix that.
If the problem isn't fixed by 9 p.m. tonight then I'm gonna have to postpone until probably next saturday.

There is a polling option, but you can't create a new poll each week, once you create a poll for a thread, it stays...forever.
And we rotate the movie choices, like the first time we did this I chose the original Gojira, then it was Haar's turn and he chose Battle Royale, then it was Guthix and he chose a Stephen King movie, etc. etc.
