Just wondering, What was your first AMV Hell?

The one that got me hooked was AMV Hell 1. Stumbled on it in YouTube.com back in 2006 (http://web.archive.org/web/20060719023808/http://www.youtube.com/) .. or was it animemusicvideos. I kinda frequesnted amvideos a lot so I might have stumbled upon it there.

I have no idea how I first got into AMV Hell but my first was 4 back in I thought '08 or maybe even '07.
The most fun and the best laughs I've ever had with anime related stuff and a gateway to a bunch of shows I've seen since then.
Didn't register on the site until 2010 though

It was AMV Hell 3 my first semester of community college. There was a whole corner of the cafeteria that was always inhabited by nerds and anime fans. My friend started playing AMV Hell 3, we got to the Fat Albert joke and I had to go to class. That night I downloaded it and watched it myself.

Back when Youtube first started doing "recommended for you" lists, I had AMV Hell 3 listed, so I watched it, then the other three that were out at the time (1, 2, and Championship Edition). I was hooked. Loved 4, ended up successfully submitting a clip to AMV Hell 5. Now I'm just waiting for 6...

I was searching for full-length AMVs at the time. AMV Hell kept coming up in my YouTube searches, but I deliberately avoided them.
I noticed that they all were really really short durations. "What good is that?" I wondered.
Eventually my curiosity got the better of me and I think the first (single) clip I watched was the classic:
"Na Na, why don't you get a job?
No!"

tl;dr version that I know none of you are going to bother reading:

(I'll just copy and paste a paragraph of rambling that I wrote in a different thread, with some slight modification)

I inadvertently discovered all of this stuff via a friend telling me about how some anime series were re-cut for the American audience, namely Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. I Googled that and found a scene cut from the dub involving some Japanese guys washing together. Anyway, I tried to find it again another day and accidentally clicked on one of the Yu-Gi-Owned GX videos made by SunlightHeartStudios, which he described as an AMV Hell-style project. I then searched that and found what he was talking about, and ran with the AMV Hell series from there, though I didn't discover the Minis until much later. The events I described occurred about 3 years ago. The whole ordeal even funnier and more ironic when considering the fact that the friend that told me the first thing wasn't even all that into anime to begin with.

Watched the first Hell from .org, we use to watch amv's while setting up for lan parties. When we came across it we were all laughing our asses off, it become a favorite to repeat.

I only know about AMV Hell because of HMV Hell. Around 2009 or so I decided to look up what HMV Hell was ripping off. It didn't occur to me till 2011 that there was more than 3 of these.

AMV Hell 3 was my first one. One of my friends at college was showing it on her laptop in the bistro and I was hooked (skipped class to see the whole thing). It wasn't until AMV Hell 4 came out that I became a creator.
