Ok, so I watched pretty much all of Toradora yesterday for the first time. And I loved it, at least, up until the last couple of episodes. I'm a huge Minori fan so it was a large blow for me when he went with Taiga. So I just wanted to know if anyone felt that Ryuji ended up with the wrong girl!

General rule of thumb in anime that arent based off a visual novel...the chick he first sees in the anime (that could be a potential love interest) is the one they end up with.

by far the most beautiful anime I have watched is Toradora! I recommend all people watch and finish it.

it was pretty obvious Minorin was gonna get left out a bit in the end, and I was perfectly fine with that TBH. nothing against her, I just bent more towards Tiaga.

the ending was kinda what made the series in the end, for me, because it was so frustratingly beautiful at first, then the sweetness set in and I saw the true honest beauty.

at first I was like Hell yeah!
then I was like wait WTF dont let her get away!
then I was like damn, what just happened?
then I was like I see what the idea was, how caring!

I expected it too from the beginning, because that's the way it always happens in animes. I just think I would have liked it more if they would have had a brother and sister relationship. Wouldn't that have been more original?

If they hadn't gotten together at the end, I think that would've been very, very surprising. I had the ending spoiled for me from some AMVs (which actually made me want to go watch it in the first place because I thought it looked adorable), but it was extremely satisfying to see them actually get together.

That being said, there were moments where I was like 'come on guys, your UST is through the roof!'

Saw it coming and was happy about it. Loved the entire anime even though the ending was predictable.

the VERY ending was the last thing from predictable, what Taiga did was diffinately not foreseen.

StinkyFranki,i just finished the anime and i agree with you 100% i was a big fan of minori and ami. i was disappointed when he picked tiaga because i wasnt a big fan of her throughout the anime. it shouldve definatly been more of a sister brother relationship. But what can you do, i still like the anime. Well off to my nxt anime :D

Am I really the only one who liked the ending? I thought it was genuinely unpredictable and didn't try to please the whole fanbase, something I respect and believe it shows the writes had real cojones. :P

It's funny. I was so pissed off about Toradora and wanted to talk to someone about it that I made an account here and created this thread. It was the entire reason I joined this site. Never thought I'd end up spending huge amounts of time every day on it. :D

Anyways, I probably overreacted at the ending. It was predictable the way for it to go and I guess it isn't really that big of a deal. I will never like the way it ended up, but not every show turns out how you want it to. Oh well

hmm, I found the show to be completely predictable except for the very end, which frustrated and amazed me to no end, and that made me love it. unfortunately Minorin was very... lame, she didnt have much to make her appealing enough, and she worked very well on her own, unfortunately she was just tossed aside.

who else thinks a show should be dedicated to Ami and Minorin and them finding love.
