With AMV Hell and the AMV Minis ending, I suppose it's finally time to lay this poor series to rest. It's been a fun ride you guys, it's had it's ups and downs, but all things (not really good here but whatever) must come to an end. AMV Hell and the AMV Minis are through, and since this is just a leech series that uses rejected footage from those, it only makes sense that this one must end as well. At least until those series come back.

Since this is ending, me and Haar are gonna give it our... uh... best? Worst? I'm not sure but we're giving it our all (by we're I mean me). So join us folks, for this one last rejected trip.

Okay then, now that that's out of the way I can add a few other notes


1. I plan on uploading this to Youtube, and possibly Vimeo. I will put up a torrent link so you all can download, and if someone wants they can re upload it to whatever download site they want. I care not.

2. This is in no way shape or form official, or affiliated with AMV Hell/Mins other than the fact I'm using rejected clips. Zarxrax also has nothing to do with this.


4. If you want to be the man to make teh cool logo just tell me and then make one. I'm not picky when it comes to choosing logos. Just don't expect me to make the logo, I have no idea how Photoshop works. Also, the current title End Of AMV Paradise is a working one, if you have any cool suggestions for a title (preferably something that means "the end" and contains an double R, feel free to suggest it.


5. If you think I'm missing anything important than post it here. I promise that I shall credit all who participate and want to be credited. So send your worst for a 6th time, for a final time. Send me your clips with jokes that: make no sense, have been overused, or are just plain unfunny. AMV Paradise has had a good run, now let's go out with a bang!

With official support, you could actually extend the number of AMV Paradises, just by using old content from previous AMV Hells that weren't submitted.

rendering requires alot of free disk space and cpu, clear out some **** and leave the pc for a few hours

A couple of reasons. I don't really like people using my stuff without asking me personally, or me telling them they can. Second, I might want to re-use clips, or rework for my other projects in the future and wouldn't want them to have already appeared in something.

I wouldn't have even minded, if I had known before submitting my clips that there as something else they could have ended up in. I fully intended to keep working with what I sent in and just sent in what I happened to have at the time. They were clips I was gathering for my own project and was just going to keep ones that Zarx didn't want for reworking it since it was all very last second.

Having a rejects reel is by no means new to Hell, just look at the DVD sets. Zarx doesn't plan on making a rejects reel for this Hell, so he has given them permission to access the rejects archive and make one themselves.
Although it's not stated, if you've been around here long enough, I would expect you to know of that possibility.

At the same time though, I understand your point of having wished to saved them for yourself. But Paradise isn't a hugely popular project, so your rejects may be spoiled to some but not many.

Zarx said I could use the clips, so I did. There really wasn't much else to the process than that. I mean, I guess I shoulda supposed someone would get mad about it, but unless I went and manually messaged every single person who's clips I was using and asked them, there was no way of knowing if they cared or not. I guess I'll just know to do that from now on.

Alllllllllllright, everything is done except typing up the credits. Just finished the ending AMV. Now my only real obstacle is fixing the whole "crashes on render" thing. I'm sure I'll be able to figure out some way to get this thing out.

Ok, everything is fixed. It rendered correctly, there are no more obstacles, now all that remains, is for me to finish typing up the credits. I have 104 typed up so far. But that's only about 28 minutes out of an hour.
