For the past six months I have been working on writing and piecing together a comic with my wife and our best friends. Half the team wanted to make a visual novel the other half wanted to make a webcomic. We decided to make a webcomic in the style of a visual novel.

This is morphE. A novel webcomic.

"After their rescue from a madwoman's hellish subterranean caverns, five humans have their eyes opened to the dark truth lurking under normal society. A "benefactor" takes them in, but he's a cold-blooded killer with a deadly fixation on the new mages. In a world of magic, vampires, werewolves, ghosts and far creeper creatures, can he be trusted? Can anyone?"

We'll be running a Sat/Tue/Thu update schedule and have prepared script for 3 months and preloaded comics for the next month.

I know how difficult it is to jump on a webcomic bandwagon at the very start but I do hope some of you will stick around for the ride.

I'll give it a try, but I don't really like the story you've given us so far. Not a huge fan of ghosts, vampires, werewolves, etc.

It'll have one ending which is already written... but we intend to abuse the similarities it has with visual novels in the future. There are some scenes planned where we're thinking of doing some multiple choice trees, interface screws and perspective shifts. For the time being we're keeping it simple to set the tone. When magic is introduced and the horror sets in we'll try to be more creative.

The hell are you talking about? Plenty of alien-races fall victim to what you just described.

Looks like we steered things a bit off topic. On topic, I think this idea has potential. I'll keep following it to see how things go.

Off the top of my head, I can only remember that happening to like 3 alien races, but it seems ridiculously common with humans.
