Alright, some somewhat bad news here, but nothing too major. We had planned for the next dvd collection to contain lots of cool stuff like amv hell 4, amv hell championship edition, hours of deleted scenes, and more. We also planned to have it ready for release at AWA along with the premiere of AMV Hell 4. This just ain't gunna happen though.

I've been working my butt off trying to get all this stuff done, but there is still a considerable amount of work that needs to be done just on amv hell 4, nevermind the deleted scenes and all!

The full dvd collection will come a few weeks after AWA, and we'll try to make it extra special.

No, theres just way too many. I can't even bother to make credits for the extras because that would literally take weeks in itself most likely. I will probably set up a page where anyone can contribute to making the credits list though.

As far as what gets in, all of the videos we received cant possibly go in the extras, as there simply isnt enough room on a dvd, but I will try to include at least 1 video from every person, except in cases where the video is too difficult to use (because the person submitted in wrong file format or something).

Actually its beginning to look like the internet release of AMV Hell 4 will be delayed a bit as well. The scope of this project has really been more than I am able to cope with, and it is going to be impossible to have a project that I am 100% satisfied with ready by sept 21. I'm currently rendering out the version for awa as we speak, but I would really like to go back and make a number of changes to things, because I am very dissatisfied with some things about it, particularly the opening scene that I largely threw together in about 15 minutes.

I'm not completely sure what to do right now, but at the moment I'm thinking that amv hell 4 will be released online by oct 1, hopefully sooner. And then the dvd collection will be maybe a month down the road after that.

A very common thought that always floats through my head as I'm editing. But I suppose thats what a lot of movie makers think.

Maybe with signatures or some variation of extra icing that wouldn't take too much effort?

(Of course, let the contributors know.. and if they send back info (pay for postage/costs?, etc) and are sure to ask nicely it might work out quite well. )

I'm also absolutely sure there wouldn't be a need for rushing that, unless those dvds and cases are inhibiting your ability to acquire sustenance or something.? >_<

OOOR.. maybe just a cd-launcher (videos at bottom) (http://www.philohome.com/hammerhead/hammerhead.htm) (<-not optimal however) and cd-armor then go at it... buuut AOL cds are better suited for this type of fun. Maybe lay siege upon the dvd case fortress. (Modified handheld clay pigeon launchers would be better suited for CQC ) ^_^;

Oh, don't spin the disks more then 27,500 rpm-ish or they WILL EXPLODE!
On that note: be careful with PSX disks in a 52x drive T_T
(Only copies/images of the SE Lain PSX game would go in my computer for emulation.)

When the dvd is complete, I hope it isn&#39;t sold exclusively online. Like with Red Vs. Blue: I was first introduced to it when I saw it at my local GameStop. AMV Hell could reach a much wider audience if it were sold like that.

Then again, AMV Hell contains some rather explicite stuff (especially 0) that could get it banned from stores, so I understand how that could be impossible.

zarx has not RELEASED it yet...there is nothing to make a DVD out of...no files, nothing...

zarx has not RELEASED it yet...there is nothing to make a DVD out of...no files, nothing...

Except we DO have something from the second compilation: AMV Hell 4 and AMV Hell CE.

I made a simple AMV Hell CE dvd when that came out, so I could show it at my friends house on anime night. And then I did the same thing with AMV Hell 4. Neither had menus or anything other than the video on them, however.
