Anyone here participate in any Wargaming, like Paintball or Airsoft?

Aside from the fact I work on the fields as a referee and a Weapons Mechanic, I play every 3 weekends to keep my fitness up to date. And after playing for 5 years, you really get a different outlook on the whole wargaming genre.

So guys and girls, do you play? And how often?

I used to play a little bit of airsoft with some of my friends. A couple of times we played in the middle of this town when it was pitch black. It sucked though because my one friend's gun was incredibly over powered and the rest of us were just using pistols or other single shot type weapons. We got so fed up with it one time that we did all against him. 4 on 1 and we still lost. All of us were sneaking around the side of this house. Had no idea where he was, and all of a sudden he just jumps out of the bushes next to us and starts firing. Everyone just took off in random directions screaming. Lol, good times.

We also even spent a couple of days down in my woods, trying to set up an area where we could do airsoft. We never ended up using it though.

Night-time combat is something I've been meaning to do, but the Australian laws are gay.

played paintball twice, but my gun sucked. now I play airsoft, got a L86 sniper and its a beast

I used to play airsoft with this piece of **** I bought at wal-mart. Once the thing inevitably fell apart I gave up on it, although I've entertained the idea of buying a new gun.

All my friends are as lazy as me, though, so they would rather sit around playing Starcraft than shoot each other in the woods for 2 hours.

Oh, ****, then I do "wargame" once in a while. Mainly whenever the local Laser Tag places are having some sort of special, but I do go every once in a while just for the hell of it.
