I know I'm not on much these days, but I've been throwing this around everywhere I go lately.
Shortest version: this is what's been eating my free hours... If you're in the Michigan area, you might see me chasing zombies through the woods, etc etc.

The after math of a zombie appocolypse, please don't push the boat out to much.
I'm with guts enough with Zombies or zombie type creatures.

personaly I think your drum needs a hole punching in it.
why are you trying to drum up support for this project?
are they friends of yours?
are you doing this project?
are you some kind of spokesperson for the group?
I might have been interested if it had been somthing other than zombies but fast zombies are the big selling point of world war Z.
so fast zombies aren't new either.
smarter zombies, i'm interested in what makes them smarter or at least see how much smarter they are than normal zombies.
stronger erm so how much stronger can the bench press cars now?

eewww hate fast zombies. It's an oxymoron.
The terror of zombie is based on
"there's so many of them, there aren't enough bullets to shoot them all"
Also, the original idea of Zombies is a parable about blind commercialism.
Commercialising zombies by making them fast seems a little counter-intuitive as well.

Why, I did state I'd be chasing zombies through the woods, so yes, I am helping with the project, the filming, the funding, the driving, so I'm kinda invested.
Yes, they are friends of mine.
Yes, I am helping with the project.
No, I'm not a spokesperson, but word of mouth is quite useful.
Now yes, I agree they could of done a better job with the presentation and taken time to explain all of the intricacies of the zombies, the setting, and all that. Honestly, it takes hours to go over "all" of it, I know, I've been there for the initial bits of explanation to the actors... So i'm guessing you wanted a deeper explanation, I can understand that, but it's not my place to give away info that will be revealed/explained in show.
smarter, that's the best understatement of their position I could of heard... when some sub-sets of zombies are actively hunting, stalking, disguising themselves as wounded people and rarely infiltrating the occasional survivor camp... yet again, not my place to reveal details... I do love some of the bastardy hunting tactics though.
stronger, well it's a matter of understanding actual biology, but with an average muscle density increase, the lesser ones are "strong" like a strong person is strong... some other sub-sets are "stronger" but unless we can get some actual funding we won't be able to properly show that, I know we can put together a fly-rig and whatnot which'll help, but it's harder to throw cars on no-budget than with some budget.

understood, quite well known actually. Zombies isn't actually the best term for what these actually "are" but it's the most valid term that isn't something as bland as "infected" and in series they're never actually called zombies, the term monsters gets thrown around and there is dialogue chunk that boils down to complaining that these aren't "zombies" as we were promised by our culture.
the terror from these zombies is two-fold, part of it is the "we don't have enough bullets" problem, the other half would be the "we're now the prey" part, both of those are creepy on different levels.

thanks for the feedback. At least with stuff stated and questions raised, the kickstarter can be edited to better convey the premise, and hopefully get us off the ground and keep this from being funded entirely out of pocket by the group.

so to clarify these arn't zombies but are more like the infected from the last of us?
The term zombie is generic and clesha then again so is the term infected. - the term zombie is what put me off this whole idea but it isn't zombies I may be willing to give it better look.
A few more details about what if the infected are dead or alive would interesting becasue then the whole series would be more about the moral dilemers of the living/uninfected
you can't kill zombies they're already dead.
but killing the infected that may still be alive is a moral question of ones own self preservation.

I dunno, it just doesn't feel original enough to be successful... Despite how you may call them, fast zombies are still fast zombies, and the zombie genre seems to have been literally milked to death (no pun intended) nowadays... You'd be getting competition from the bigger and more successful franchises and movies that are coming out recently, and trying to wrestle with those giants is a lost cause.
My suggestion would be to just drop it and try to come up with something that has the potential of being the "new" zombies... No more slow zombies, infected and whatnot... Think about something different from those genres, or at least try to separate yourself from the other "big guns" by bringing your own ground-breaking original spin to the table.
