They're not horrible, but they're far from good . . I've seen much worse, be happy that third one has so many views and comments. I'd kill for ONE freakin' comment on my videos in the directory. They're GOOD, I know they're good! Why won't anybody comment on them?? D:

sorry had to cut that last post short.

It adds a bit more professionalism to your work.

with soft subs animes I usually convert their files (MKV) which every editor I've used can't read them to one that they can. The process dose not render the code for the subs. so you get a nice clean and mute video for your project.

Riaki

So it makes it have a clear picture? is what your saying right Lol

DXM

depens on the source and how you configure the render
( I use these guys: http://www.xilisoft.com/)

Here's two AMV I made of FLCL with windows movie maker

this one was was from an Avi of the dub. I never converted it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAFyRq0Nry0

this one was from a dvd rip(MKV) of duo audio
witch I converted but keep the quality the same

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCFO_uVUOME

now I covert with the highest viedo quility Bitrate, around 2500, but I have 2.5 TBS of storage and a nice video card to mess around with.

I'm more of a shower then a teller, sorry.

basically
Stay away of avi files unless you make them

don't bother with ratios , bit rates will tell you how great the video quality will be

and experiment with your converter

Riaki

so your telling me mess around with video converter and find out what qualities good cause you just told me your not a teller ur a showerer XD or however you spell it :3

Like the other people keep saying, they aren't bad, but could use alot more work.

My problem with them is in the music department, I mean other than the subs (which have already been addressed) the music does not fit the anime you're putting it too. I mean, I'm sure there are ways to fit megadeth to Dragonball Z. :P

ya big thing with AMV's..when you get a fast beat toss in multiclips or toss in an effect to suit or else..face it it knocks it down a few lvls

Riaki

I knI know I have alot to learn >.<

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwJQzVd3FYE&feature=related If I can use this as an example, you can see how the high spots of the song match up to something that happens in the video (Someone getting thrown into a building when they yell "Move!")

Also, I didn't notice if you were doing it, but I know alot of other people do it -Don't use clips from sites that put water marks on their clips.

Riaki

the switching screens is the effect correct? and the over laying O..O

darkzi
10-07-2010, 07:06 PM
both of them..just saying you another ones work so you get an idea of blending effects to go with it and that was done with regular adobe premiere so even a lil effects in the right spots can make it high quality

Riaki
10-07-2010, 07:08 PM
I still dont know how to do effects O_O or anything thats probaly why I was never good at this in the first place XD

darkzi
10-07-2010, 07:09 PM
hey I wasnt good at the first place you just gotta experiment
take for example one of the first FMVs I did
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZo5QtS7Fhs
and once I got to trying out new ideas and playing with the programs

10-07-2010, 07:39 PM

Sony Vegas movie studio 9 is $45 bucks

10 is $95

platinum( includes dvd architect and sound blaster) which
I bought is $125.

unless you are professionally editing I don't think you'll need the $600
Pro version.

Plus Sony has a hell of a learning curve.
I recommend Powerdirector for you right now (plus it's easier to crack)

Riaki
10-07-2010, 09:06 PM
oh well im sort of lazy can you find me the crack or torrent :3
