6 was funny but alright, not enough to warrant a vote.
same goes for 9, it dragged on a bit too long.
12 would've been good if the editing was better and it was a bit shorter.
13 got the most laughs out of me and thus earned my vote.
14 was also alright.

All in all a 6/10 episode surprisingly.

Still, I was expecting a bit more from this episode... The editing and quality was pretty damn good (for the most part... *Glares*), but there just weren't enough good punchlines to make it very high above the meh tier...

No Dr. Strangelove? I was surprised. That movie is the epitome of black comedy. But then again, it would be hard to find a clip that fits well. For the most part it was a pretty good episode.

It used to be a big thing for the main hell series even the mini series wanted funny clips.

it was one of the things that stopped my submissions making it into the minis series when they had the voting system.

This wasn't as dark as I hoped it would be. Yeah, you can have gore in a scene, but that doesn't make it dark to the point of regretting laughing at it. As for the clips, I liked 6, 7, 9, 12 (I think there were far more darker scenes that could have been used from that film) and 14. 9 got my vote as it was completely unexpected and now I may always see Griffiths as Batman...

Had pretty high expectation for this episode. I shouldent had:S, pretty weak in my opinion.

6, 13 and 15 was good atleast and my favorites ones
1, 2, 5, 9 and 12 was ok I guess
7 was by far the worst clip in this episode... It used a joke that has already been used in minis and was FREAKING 38SEC LONG-_-* (the lip synch was very good though). 11 was pretty awful to.

My vote goes to 13. Funny, fitted well to the theme and good editing, nice job!

Reading more peoples opinions and rewatching. 7 sort of lost it for me now one of the better clips but...its elfen lied. I am always biased against that anime ontop of it being the go to anime for "dark" and "humor".

You know what the darkest and funniest AMV Mini's clip was? The Trogdor/Tractor clip we had many votes ago.

So I go for 13 as I do get a chuckle from it each time and is actually dark.

2 (I never see Noein anywhere, and it was used well here XD ), 10, and 15 all made me laugh pretty hard. Props to 10 for turning a horrific/traumatizing scene like that stupidly funny. Now I'm only gonna think of Rolf and snort anytime I encounter that scene! XP 12 was a little too long, but it still made me smile.

10 may have my vote if I vote at all...

The more people voting, the better, as it shows that people are interested in the AMV Minis.

Some might either be too lazy to vote, not know how to vote properly, not be able to decide which one is their most favorite, or not have any favorite at all. But you seem to have a most favorite, so why not give it your support? After all, it's not like it's forever going to be up to the viewers to decide, so we might as well vote while the challenges are still around.

I only recall seeing that scene used once before in a previous AMV Hell-related thing, but even then I don't recall which. This time, the... "impact", for lack of a better word, actually stuck with me this time. I'm gonna remember it was in this particular episode, and it actually changed how I see that scene. That's why I feel it deserves a vote. I still give 10 props. ^__^

1: This was decent enough for what it was. I don't find it very offensive though. Maybe because id didn't care much for emi but that might be another story.

2: Okay, if i saw two child hookers fighting like that, i probably would laugh hard. Also appreciate the bit of misogyny at the end.

3: This clip keeps making me cringe...well played.

4: Kinda falls because he didn't freaking kill the old man. That clip broke its promise!

5: Short, simple, and effective. Good one.

6: That was okay. Can't go wrong with rape jokes/misogyny.

7: Yeah, i hate to single things out but joke lost whatever steam it had as it went on....and on....and on...Next time dude, know when to stop. I will say your editing skills are well polished though.

8: I like the execution here in the editing. Really helps the comedic factor with all the little details like mustang having ed's arm at the "Was it you frank?" Good clip.

10: That actually kinda works in the editing sense, but at this point we've seen the dog scene so much can anyone really react to that? Good effort though.

12: Never thought i'd see angel cop here. Aside from that i consider this the stand out this episode. Though the lip synch could have been better, it was executed in a solid enough matter to forget about that and just laugh at the on point editing of the character's interaction. Well done.

13: Yay more prostitution jokes. Not sarcasm.

14: Dammit! I probably would have reacted better had i actually seem bambi. Really need to get that over with. Decent clip.

15: I know the context behind this clip, but i don't think it works that well in my opinion.

16: A bit to short to really get anything out of it. Pretty sure we all are numb to decapitation by now.

17: It was an interesting idea but i don't think the execution was that great or had much of a chance of coming out that great. Not gonna deny you tried though. Sometimes **** just doesn't click and that's how it came off to me personally.

I expected this episode to be just a...tad more outrageous. It's solid how it is i guess.

01 – KataRun – Suits the theme well, nice fit with audio and video. I like it.

02 – Not Family Guy – The problem with this entry is that it feels way too generic.
You could probably use footage from any other Chinese cartoon (with two girls fighting in it) in this clip and it wouldn’t feel any more or less uncreative. You could have at least replaced Roger.

I don’t discriminate against Seth MacFarlane gags outright, some have been used to good effect in the past (http://youtu.be/Bj-mal_6xOs?t=59m35s) after all. It’s just rare.

04 – Killing(?) the old man – I’m kind of in agreement with N.P.C.C. on this one- the fact that the sword stopped was super lame, but I did get a laugh out of the audio. That duck-quack censor was strangely hilarious.

06 – Very Boss – A Berserk clip with a rape gag… I think I know who made this… and they know how to please me.
It’s nice to see we’ve got a bit of a thing going with the “awesome” smiley acting as a censor image. Pity entry 12 didn’t play along though.

07 – Head head head – Normally I would direct you to point (1) of my signature, but at least you did something… different with the gag, I guess, kinda… as for the editing:
The sudden inclusion of NGE footage at 1:58 made no sense. Perhaps if you had included shots of a relevant decapitation along with it:

…it would have flowed a little better. You could have used different toons with different decapitations displayed with every sound bite from Austin Powers, and given the entry a bit of variety, perhaps?

At 2:10, Lucy suddenly takes Liz Hurley’s voice, even though up to that point Yuka was playing that role… and Yuka was in the shot before the sliding frame transition too. Why the switch?

If this clip ended at the 1:47 mark, it might have been… serviceable, but after that point, this just turns into a mess that goes on for way too long.
Weird entry, but at least we can see there’s some potential in your editing ability…

11 – Spin to lose – I try not to get bogged-down too heavily with the theme of the challenges and all… but seriously- where’s the dark humour here? Please answer, because I’m evidently not the only person wondering.
Besides that, see signature point (1). This gag has been used to much, much better effect in /0.

12 – Poor Marvin – Not bad, but a couple of changes would have improved this.
The clip should have started with (let’s just call her Marvin) Marvin on the right side of the screen, having her suddenly jump-frame from the left to the right like that looked dumb.
If the clip had ended at 3:37 it would have been fine. At 3:42 however Angel/Vincent mentions going over a “bump or something”, which makes no sense, this part of the audio should have been removed.

13 – Money money money – Nice editing, short and funny. Perfect.

14 – Bambi’s Rain – The cuts fit the narrative of the song well enough I suppose, but the gag could have been delivered without the slow build-up and just used the “I shot Bambi’s mother” line with the footage of the dead Deer and shocked hunter.
Better to keep it short and sweet.

17 – Oki doki – I get what you’re trying to do with the lyrics and animation, but in some sections here the audio and video doesn’t quite connect- or they do connect but still require too far a stretch. “The left foot out” and “whole self out” parts in particular didn’t work, the body parts in question needed to be way more… “out” than they were shown here to really fit the song.
A pile of motionless clothing isn’t what I imagine when I hear the line “shake it all about” either.
The image quality scrambles a couple of times, like at the 4:57 mark, and there are a few stray frames here and there that should have been edited out- like at 5:02 (the shot of the hands); you can fix this even with crappy, free software like Avidemux, so there’s really no excuse for it.

Not a bad effort; just use a better quality video source, exercise your editing skills and keep a closer eye on the small details next time.

This wasn’t a bad round. It seems the contributors actually tried telling jokes this time, instead of just splicing toons and music together in a random fashion hoping it might adhere to the theme. A handful of entries were even funny. So relatively speaking- this was actually a great round.
