This fellow's video here got rejected for AMV Minis. I've seen other rejected videos, and I could see why some of those would be rejected, but this one here is perfect and I want your guy's opinions on why something like this would be rejected. Honestly, there should be like . . a 10 person panel or something that decides what stays and what goes, because most of the people who watch AMV Hell and AMV Minis don't actually come to this site, so they miss out on good stuff like this. /rant

Speaking an opinion doesn't always = complaining, and looks like I already did ask for the community's opinions on why it wouldn't be accepted. When you're going to start a debate, make sure you have all the facts first.

You never really commented if that certain GameFAQs board you hanged out at was LUE. I'm an old school LUEser myself, but eventually I grew out of it. Bigger fish to fry. :D

Basically we were a smaller version of Anonymous. We were . . GameFAQs's black sheep, a bastard child. Eventually the board was closed down by "what's his face", the guy who was the head cheese before he sold GameFAQs to that big company. The straw the broke the camel's back was when a small group of LUEsers went to some girl's blog or something along the lines of a blog after she had just committed suicide, and posted things like "You're so hardcore!" "LOL!" etc etc, the usual troll garbage. He didn't really delete the board, but made it so no one else could ever join, and its members would just die out. Ask around, you'll find out who we were.

yes but you gotta understand that how also everyone's humor is different; I mean I do admit your clip was good but it isnt the normal off the walls humor that the amvhell community always seeks..it falls more under clever than clever/humor...and as it says that he wants something that is out of character more in the clips; even says in the guide that you can make a clip go well together but he doesnt want something that fits in too common like dbz/mortal kombat...it can be good but not the kinda humor we want

To answer all your questions: I did not make the amv I was bringing attention to (though I did submit one myself that got rejected but I agree with the rejection), I'm not trying to "get anywhere" by talking about LUE it's just fun to remember my internet past, and lastly I know you old timers aren't used to all the talking but this is how we new guys do things so you may want to get used to it and join in. :D

Well I'm flattered my rejection causes such outrage, Sleepless. I myself was quite disappointed that it got the boot with how much work I actually put into it. That being said, it was probably way too esoteric and Murdock & 2D were probably pretty hard to understand (what with their ****ney accents). It made me a bit sad, but I can see why it got a pass. Just didn't hit that right spark.
