"Animated Music Television". An AMV Hell with the best full length amvs that are set to the most awesome songs. On normal AMV Hells there's just not enough room for a 3-5 minute amv, but in this one there could be! Doesn't it sound cool??? O.O

. . Stop raining on my parade, this is a good idea. I'm sure you've seen long amvs that're awesome the whole time. Amvs that you're just bobbing your head and you're like "Yeah, yeah, cool, I feel it, rock on!" or ones that you're like "My God, so moving . . Should've sent a poet.", I think people would enjoy something like that. It doesn't even have to be official, I'm just saying putting together the best amvs that under normal circumstances would be too long to make the cut, could be a good thing.

Too long? Are we talking full length songs with clips? One of the reasons most of the AMVs in the AMV Hell series are creative is because they're just snippets from songs with short clips from animes. Its mostly a random assortment of jokes, most of which are esoteric unless you have watched every anime or game featured in the series.
It could work it would just seem a little heavy-handed. Most clips average at about 20-40 seconds. So are you suggesting something like what VH1 and MTV do at night and the summer? Just constant AMVs? That's quite a goal certainly but who's going to go along with it?

Well if we took the best amvs on this site that were created by users here, amvs that ran 3-5 minutes, we probably could get an hour out of that, so most of the work is already done.

This makes the second or third time this Idea was proposed over the course of my time at the forums, it usually boils down to 'longer clips aren't exactly the AMVhell way' but it has led to some other projects getting inspired and done.

Well . . even though most people like AMV Hell for the short funny clips, don't a lot of people like amvs in general because they set their favorite songs to their favorite animes? Maybe the amvs used in this could be hand picked by the viewers via polls?

It's quite an interesting idea but i usually skip those clips that go up to a minute or over.... I think it would be interesting to see all the rejected clips that where too inapropreate or not funny enough.

But there's no doubt you'd hate a couple songs no matter what. If you're like me, and insist on sitting through every AMV, even the ones you hate, this could be torture.
