Wait a minute, this just now caught my eye. You bought a song? Why would anyone do that?

Its a song a fan made in 2008 of my subject. Its apparently went unknown to most people and thus no download. Except for Amazon mp3 and CDBaby. I am a UK citizen so Amazon said "**** OFF YANKS ONLY! FOR MP3 SALES!" so I payed the 69p for the song on CDBaby. It was that or rip it from a youtube video.....we all know thats a bad idea.

Besides....I wanted this to be perfect. I have spent all day on the clip and I have finished it, clocking in at 40 seconds long and its funny (at least in my mind) while showing off what I want and I think well edited. May tweak it in future.

This is my best clip so far with a recent clip I put up for AMV hell 7 being my second best. Which if I got 3 clips accepted so far and I think of them as lesser clips. Then the clip I am most proud should have a great chance.

It was a 480p video that used 1:20 of the 3min track and that 1:20 mins was the complete opposite side of the 3min song I wanted to use. Add on top of that audio from the original video bleeding into the audio track. NOOOOOPE. 69p/$1 is a fine enough payment to get EXACTLY what I want in High quality.

On Freezepop's version of Gem I know its not good and thats why I like Freezepop they have this weird charm about their songs. They are not delivered like this is the moment their life depended on...instead its the quiet subdued enthusiasm we all share.

Why I also like Bird and the Bee as Inara isnt trying to sing to the heavens and convince you of what she is singing about, its a hushed acceptance.

Ironically, i would use that same reasoning to describe why i like some songs in the show.

- Hmm...I kinda liked "My Love." Reminds me of "Seventeen" by Janis Ian

- "Polite Dance Song" has me thinking "Okay, they're hippies." Simple but sick music video.

- "Would you be my ****ing boyfriend" reminds me of "Telepopmusik". That's trip hop inspired right there and has a great beat.
