Gunslinger Girl is perhaps my favourite anime of them all, and so a homage to it was nothing short of necessary. It's an unusual pairing of anime and audio, admittedly, but I think you'll agree that it's twistedly fitting given the subject matter. In the description on its Video Directory page I witter on about very high-minded ideas like the juxtaposition of dark qualities that the song helps to bring into relief, but really it takes its inspiration from this picture, found while browsing Danbooru:

maybe chewi thinks it worth being in an amv hell video, which it deserves to be in it's realy good.

Well, it's obviously far too long to include in a Hell or a Mini, but truth be told the AMV did grow from them - the period 0:06 to 0:46 in the video was originally intended to be its own Minis clip. It was scuppered by its overrunning length and Zarxrax closing submissions, but that did give me an opportunity to review and reflect on it - I decided that the conceit of the clip was strong enough to stand on its own, so I cultivated the germ of an idea into something larger and expanded the clip into the full-length AMV that you can see here.

I have had another Gunslinger Girl clip featured in the Minis (the reference to The Italian Job in Episode Six) and I do have a few more clips prepared for when Season Two submissions are opened.

well some people just make an amv and if they wanna put it into it then you can just cut a good 10-30 sec from it

that would be really long..if anything make like a amvhell teaser edition where shows like 30 seconds of an amv and the credit page gives like youtube links for the full ones..kinda like a MEP

it's more of story than anything so if you like a more serious anime then ya..idk I couldnt get passed the first ep..tried but didnt see any Moe or ><
