End of Eva.

If you haven't see it, so watch Evangelion now, followed by End of Evangelion.

Judging from this thread and your post in one of the other threads, it seems you're not very familiar with Evangelion, if at all. So, to be a little more clear for you: the footage from that segment was from a movie that is titled End of Evangelion. The movie is called End of Evangelion because, as you might expect, it is the ending for a TV anime called Evangelion (short for Neon Genesis Evangelion).

To have any hope of understanding what's going on in End of Evangelion, you should watch the ENTIRE 26-episode Evangelion TV series before you watch that movie. The character whose arm splits in half is named Asuka, but if I told you why it splits in half or the context of the scene in which it happens, it would be way too much of a spoiler (not to mention way too complicated).

erg.... alright, Ill go look for it... Yeah I havent seen this anime, or many otherss to tell the truth... mostly dismissed them as dumb because the ones I saw (mainly on CTNW) were pure crap.

im seeing now that some look to have decent storylines... plus im bored so I may as well check it out...

Glad to hear your interest is rising. :) You're right, there is far, far more to anime than what gets shown on Cartoon Network and the like. There are so many different kinds of anime out there that there is literally something for everyone.

if you can get it go for the platnem Evangelion series you get alot more it explains the story better with some of the added sceanes and Please watch all 26 eps first.

End of evangelion is a remake of the last to episodes as the director of the tv show got seth threts for the last to episode being not what the fanst wanted so he made end of eva with everything the fans wanted but in sutch a wrong way. ^^

also if you get the chance listen to the audio comentery on end of eve will make you laugth your socks off ^^

yeah, not to seem sick or anything but I like the gore factor in them... like most college students...

Reading them seems to have piqued my interest... I got sick of seeing unrealistically drawn people with contorting faces and bodies... a little too ... hmm don't know how to put it, but too not something or other for me.
