AMV Hell 4 was, as said, the greatest multi editor project EVER! There was such a huge line to get in but I was there 1 1/2 hours early. I saw the person who made the original corn clip lol. But when AMV hell 4 was starting, it was such a rush. And I must say I think you will all REALLY like the "THIS IS SPARTA CLIP"

I'm happy because 10 of my clips were in there 8)

Any other questions lemmie know.

Oh, and if you ask me "Was my clip in there." I'm going to be a jerk and I won't answer

Ok then, let's go to the second question on my mind...

How long was it approximately?

Were there any clips to which the audience had a particularly positive reaction?

How long was it approximately?
From opening to end about an hour and 30 minutes. And it just flew by. As soon as the final clip was over everyone in the conference room went "Awww....."

And just to say, the most used anime wasn't Azumanga daioh. This time I believe it was Dragon Ball Z

Musta been complete laughter from beginning to end.

Can't believe I'm part of the greatest video compilation ever..

I'm so happy. :D

And one of mine was a dbz clip (I won't be an ass and ask which if it's in it though) that used real life.

So, it was awesome as expected, eh? Nice to know that the last AMV HELL ever went out with a bang.

Got a few questions. Which clips did the audience seem to like the most? Besides DBZ, were there any other overly-used anime? And on that note, did the anime ONE PIECE get much representation? (Getting clips of ONE PIECE into AMV HELL 4 was my primary goal). And lastly, how did they handle the transition this time?

Can't wait for the download to arrive.

I'd like to know what the opening and closing clips were.

And was there a "I will always love you" moment, where the audience just lost it? Or maybe they lost it multiple times, 'cause 4 is just that good? :P

Yes there were a large number of one piece clips, as well as naruto. It was the same kind of transition but the TV wasn't pixelated. And whenever it jumped to the next clip the little knob turned.

And was there a "I will always love you" moment, where the audience just lost it? Or maybe they lost it multiple times, 'cause 4 is just that good? :P
There were several clips that made alot of people laugh really hard. And there was several that made people cheer because the clip was just so awesome.

There were a couple

there were a ton of clips making fun of deathnote, i thought that was one of the funniest parts.

of course, the allusion to the twin towers was pretty funny too...

but the best was definitley the "a priest, a rabbai, and a shaman walk in to a bar" joke. i was hysterical!

I just got back from the weekend at AWA, and it was a blast! It was kinda hard to believe how many people were there to see AMV Hell 4, and there was apparently a huge line of people waiting at the door who never got in. They did show it again today though, but I wasn't able to stay to see it this time.

As soon as the credits started playing, they turned on the lights though, and then everyone started getting up and talking and stuff, so no one really got to enjoy the credits video :(

People actually seemed to like the non-opening segment that I had thrown together, so I think that I might actually keep it, with some modifications. I'm sure everyone is really eager to know about what videos are in the project, and when it will be available for download, etc. I just have a few things to fix up in it, and I'll try to get it up ASAP! Hopefully this coming weekend.

I really liked the opening. It was a major flashback to the others. That was A LOT of keyframing. How long did that take?! haha I won't spoil anything but I think you know you should still keep the part that made everyone laugh before it started.

As for the credits, I couldn't hear the song. I liked how you only used the clips that were in the project. It will make the editors in the project happy to see you used their clips. I say keep it. It beats a black screen with words on it

I do have to ask one thing though. Was there a "commercial break?" It looked all cowboy bebop style.

Hello all. I just wanted to say that AMV Hell 4 was an outstanding project...except for the 9/11 segment. Honestly, that part wasn't funny at all. I was there Friday at the premier at AWA and when that segment was being played the crowd was silent. Silent! There was a point where I just said this sucked and started booing. Soon enough the entire room joined me and we booed that segment until it was over. Now, I do recall there was a 9/11 segment using Neo Genesis Evangelion in Hell 3 but I guess we let that one slide. I didn't get to witness the Sunday crowd's reaction but more than likely it was the same as Friday's. After seeing the news bulletin I'm assuming they're editing to take that out and put something else in because that was the only thing tarnishing the entire project. That's all, well done work to all the AMV creators who submitted awesome work! :D

Given the sheer volume of Internet memes, macros, and gifs involving the Twin Towers & 9/11, the presence of a 9/11 clip in AMV Hell 4 doesn't surprise me in the least. I know I'll be laughing when I see it, because if we don't laugh at it, the terrorists win.

Dear AMV Hell Fan,

Yes I am a fan aswel... but a true fan cause i would accept a 9-11 skit, wasnt the original intention of amv hell to shock, aww, disgust, and make people laugh all in 1 sitting? I personaly I dont think they tarnished anything by putting something of that magnitude in it... now im not too sure about this anime but... the chinise soldier depected in "my ass is bleeding" is makeing fun of a war that china had that 400x more people died in for stupid reasons then people in the towers. if a buncha chinise war veterans saw that clip what would they say? a fellow vetren bleeding out his arse? but what were we doing? laughin like hell....

is there a time period in witch us americans have to wait befor makeing fun of the towers is actualy funny?

JFK assaination is a fat joke anymore.
How many people made fun of the plauge?
We make fun of OJ gettin away with murdering his wife... but did we ever think about his wife rationaly?
how about when R kelly pee'd on that gurl... where you thinking "oh that poor girl" or HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats messed up."

I think it should be left in personaly, its not like america cared that much or we probaly would still be out for osama. shock factor A+ and bad publisity is better then no publisity, you may find that video on FOX news. after that probaly about 1,000,000 people will visit amvhell.com overnight lol.

sorry for my long speach but i just see it as petty to remove something cause a few americans might have a problem, this is viewd worldwide, not just in georgia, cant get much more republican there.

Seriously...AMV Hell 4 was great. That's given. One word: Epic

I was there for both showing and the truth is that, yes, the crowd bood the 9/11 clip. Mostly however it's because of how long it was drawn out. If you're going to use 9/11 to shock it has to be an "OMG WTF OH LOL WTF" moment. Not an "omg wtf lo-wtf? uh? wt--booo!" which is what it was. But it's not like we were sincerely miffed.

The showing was great though. My friends and I almost missed it--we had to run from the mall to the con in like 8 minutes. And even though we would crack up everyone would get silent for the next clip. No joke, you could have heard a pin drop. Anyway, I know everyone will love it. Oh, and there was a Steve Irwin joke. lol!
