Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt, the toony offering that is Gainax's latest production, has been causing a sensation and rightly so. While it has a reputation for crass toilet humour, though, you must give credit to Gainax that they're not reluctant to mix things up a little. Amidst the frenzy of the action-comedy's usual fare, we've had a quiet love story, a grim social commentary, and, with the arrival of the demon sisters Scanty & Kneesocks, an overarching plot. But recurring villainesses also means recurring defeats for said villainesses. Still, they dust themselves down and forge on doggedly, concocting another scheme...
...not unlike a certain duo from another popular anime!
