I have a mean white 'gain life to win'; unlimited elven based damage/creature/life deck; a nasty blue 'remove your all your cards' deck; two brutal creature kill decks (black/red); and several other 'minor' decks.

I love making decks solely for dragons, angels, myrs, goblins, wizards...
Hell, even weird **** like cats I like making decks for.

I play old school goblins. goblins: raging, balloon brigade, clergyion, soothsayer, tinkerer, of flarg, recruiter, ringleader. Other cards: coat of arms, goblin grenade, mog infestation, goblin king (a lord not a goblin technically) oh and two forks. ^_^ get a lot of kills with the goblin grenade fork. it's a nice 10 direct damage when the other player has blockers out.

ive got about 40 or so decks put together right now :X they vary alot. 2 elf decks, 2 goblin decks, a giant green creatures deck, a creature steal deck, a pure burn deck, a creature kill deck, a life gain cleric deck, 2 kithkin decks, a merfolk deck, a giant deck, a treefolk deck, a ob nixilus deck, a infinite loop deck (morselhoarder woo), a ninja deck, a samurai deck, a zubera deck, a wither/assassin deck, and more that i dont feel like thinking of right now ^_^

the ob nixilus deck is one of my better ones, my friends dont let me play it often... land retreival + scape shift makes ob nixilus do horrible things to people.

lets see. I stick to around 7. For standard I run Myr Galvanizer/ Splinter twin loop, Argentuim Armor, and Mass Polymorph. And for casual, I run Dark Depths, Turn 0 win, Hive Mind/ Pacts, Metalcraft/Affinity, and Confusion in the Ranks.

And there I was, having not the slightest inkling of what the **** you were talking about.

The guys at work used to play cards - until they got plenty bored of it that is - it went something like this:

(Imagine a small table, around it six guys, mostly muscular and powerful looking, but a couple small - relatively - two of them covered in ancient glyphs, one looking like a biker, one like a Pirate, one like Cartman, the others, not so much.)

Guy 1: why do I always get these crappy cards? Look? (shows the others)
Guy 2: Do.

Guy 3: haha!

The game goes round.

Guy 4: Hammertime!

The other guys feel that sounds really cool, so ove rthe next month, every card game has the word "Hammertime" shouted over multiple times for whatever small reason.

I hide in the corner and read a book to avoid this silly nonsense.

BGS means Beckett Grading Services, Beckett is a company that rates baseball cards
10 is the highest grade on their scale
so BGS-10 is basically perfect condition

that would explain it, those are some of the good mythics, most of them just cost too much and aren't actually run in decks, but some of them turn out to be really good like planeswalkers

Ah Magic, though I don't really play it as much as I used to it was once one of my favourite pastimes, I'm one of those players that likes to make themed decks with weird and ridiculous combos, I also love to drag a match out letting them bring me to the brink of defeat before using a single turn to smash them for more damage than they've dealt all day.

Sadly between most decks nowadays being of the "turn three wins or bust" variety and me simply not being able to afford to keep up with the new sets anymore (especially as I've gotten in to 40K lately) I've simply stopped playing.

My favourite (though not "best") deck is a Black-Green Thallid deck, it's far too slow to be used competitively but given time I can get this:

One thing about that deck, I once calculated that if by some random act of chance I got all my thalids in to play as well as both of my doubling seasons I'd get approximately 24 saprolings per thallid for a total of about 200 - 300 sappies per turn, then I'd use this guys secondary ability:

to add another four times that on to the field, and that's with only TWO Seasons, my friend and I once figure out if you used four and added four copy enchantments you'd get 256 spore tokens or 85 saprolings on a regular thallid alone.
