Canon or non canon? I have trouble wrapping my mind around Stocking being a demon and Panty being chopped up into hundreds of cubes that Brief has to go collect. :confused:

1) Panty was cut into 666 cubes to be accurate.
2) Gainax said they made Panty and Stocking for ****s and giggles.
3) Gainax rarely makes any good endings, so I expected this.
4) Garterbelt and Corset spoke of bondage as if it were the force.
5) Season two probably won't be released but if it does get released: Brief, Chuck, Scanty, and Kneesocks with Garterbelt.
6) We have been Gainax'd.
7) Final ghost was stupid as f*ck.
8) Giant pair of legs....
9) Obviously a joke ending. Why would Stocking kill, or incapacitate, Panty after the door to hell was closed.
10) Chuck became awsome.
11) Ending is non-canon.

Hmm' . . . alright then, I won't worry about it. I'm not familiar with the ways of "Gainax" so the "ending" really gave me a headache trying to understand it. The whole series itself took me awhile to get used to, it was twice as random and bizzare as Excel Saga.

I think I say it best when I say that this show was destined to be dubbed and put on Adult Swim.

and Gainax already said there would be a second season.

personaly I loved the show because of what an acid-trip mockery it was, truely hilarious, and seeing Brief finaly become more kick-ass was well worth it

That antagonist guy said that there was another gate in neighboring Oten City. They're using the pieces of Panty to lure Brief to the gate so they can use Hell's Monkey (Brief's penis) to unlock it.

I don't really think Stocking was a demon. Probably that bondage fetish she had brainwashed her.
