So here are my favourite parts of 4, with an explanation:
- The whole 'dear sister'-skit's, after the first one i KNEW that you would do it with Death Note, too. And the part where Spike shot the viewer was brilliant.
- The Lucky-Star Death-Note style intro was pretty well done, much better than the version that's already on youtube(http://youtube.com/watch?v=DWRCSFLvxw0). Maybe the best edit in the video.
- The what is love-scene, the highlight, i was eagerly awating how you would manage this scene, surpassed my expectations.
- FMA: 'why mummy left us'. Didn't knew the song before, awesome
- all the chibi-Sasuke stuff

Whilst it didn't make me laugh out loud as much as AMV Hell 3, it was still a wonderful piece of work. Some great humour, and awesome clips/songs were used. And of course, the syncing/whatever else it is you do to the clips is excellent.

I know I have a ton of favorites that I only remember when they come up on rewatching, but some of the ones I remember particularly enjoying were "Burning for you" 'Dirty Deeds" "I need more allowance" "Ass up" the Fruits Basket clips, the Yotsobato manga one, the Spirited Away ones...oh, heck, and lots, lots more.

-One Piece: Dancing Queen (I haven't watched One Piece, so I was unprepared for how incredibly over the top that guy was)
-Bleach with Mario sound effects
-Serial Experiments Lain: Technologic (Not funny, but very impressive visually)
-Hare Hare Yukai/Time Warp: the available footage was (understandably) limited, but I liked the idea.
-Math correction
-One Piece: Jackass
-Excel Saga: Ilpalazzo as Elmer Fudd.
-One Piece: Popeye (It seems One Piece wins my "Anime with consistently good clips" award)
-Azumanga Daioh: Kimura's creepy speech.
-Full Metal Panic: Spiderman.
-That clip with all the Pokemon memes was strangely addictive.
-Of course, the Lucky Star-ified Death Note opening. One of the top clips in all AMV Hells for me, as it was both funny and technically impressive.
-Majin Buu as Fatman. I like clips that take funny audio and use the video to make it even funnier (Like AMV Hell 3's Star Trek Rhapsody with Outlaw Star).
-I loved the return of the Azumanga Daioh Feline Chorus.

I liked a LOT of the rest too. I at least smiled at any clips whose joke I got, and even when I didn't know the reference, I appreciated how well timed and paced the clip was (like the one with the Christmas lights).

Brian Boitano is one of my favorite clip out of all the AMV Hells, I can only think of a few in previous ones that I liked better. Special Olympics was awesome and will definitely make my friends happy when I show them.

Today I rewatched, and took notes so I could expand my list of ones I really liked.

At 35 minutes in, I had over forty titles written down, so I gave up.

But I'll mention a few.

For sheer total coolness rather than funnyness, I loved Lain/Technologic, Christmas Lights and I'm Blue.

Special mentions of ones I didn't list before that made me giggle or grin--the Sinister Ducks, the Great Mighty Poo, Maneater, the Little Old Lady from Pasadena, Cuppycake, Ridin' Dirty, the One-piece/Benny Hill chase scene and (believe it or not) the "He looked at me...and I looked at him" thing.

Still TONS of others, but many other people are heaping praise.

Criticism is absolutely fine and welcome---if it&#39;s constructive, which none of his was. Also, the thread is "favourite" clips, not "ones I thought were crappy so I&#39;ll name them here with zingy comments".

Anyway, he felt the need to post the ones he didn&#39;t like, and I didn&#39;t like his post, so I figured it was fair enough to say it annoyed me. Just venting. Now I&#39;m done.

Amv Hell always feels weird to criticize in the forums because, unlike most media, the creators will respond to your comments directly. Can you imagine going to a discussion forum for a new movie and expect the director to comment?

Kino's Journey-"BOOM HEADSHOT!" Of all the things you'd NEVER hear Kino actually say......

Death Note-"Candyman". Erm.....no. But rather amusing, and well-edited (nice layering).

Elfen Lied-"Ticks". Well, half in-character and half not, but needless to say, I don't think Lucy would ever appreciate humans grooming her for bloodsucking arachnids. Although she might give Kouta the slip, I suppose. Kind of a sweet video, actually.

Death Note-"Unwritten". Again, that is not a writer reflecting, it's a psychopath setting his world domination plan out, basically. But clever. And well-edited.

Don't Get the Joke:

Death Note-"Maybe I'm A Lion". Even after seeing the anime, I still don't get the punch. And I've never cared for that song much.

BECK-"Rusty Cage". Is this a meme?

Tasteless:
