I couldn't make it past the first episode . . too' boring and too many male characters.

I agree the first episode is pretty boring. After that I thought the show was pretty engaging. There are a lot of male characters, I felt that was refreshing considering the surplus of female characters in the industry.

haha. more like confusing, rather than boring. you watch the first episode and think "did i miss a couple of episodes" but now i know what kind of anime you're into panda... you dog you ;)
hint: watch the show backwards and it makes perfect sense. literally, just put it on rewind, watch it, and it will make a world of difference!

It's not what it looks like. My favorite animes happen to be ones with strong leading ladies that break the stereotype of the "sensitive defenseless feminine girl that needs a man to be complete". I require animes with many of these types of women. Hellsing for example has LOTS of strong women. Alucard is interesting, but without characters like Integra, Seras, Rip, Zorin, I just wouldn't be as interested.

It's OK panda. I don't care if you're into that kind of stuff. you don't have to lie about it. we'll just make it our little secret *wink* *wink* :D

I never thought I'd see the day when there would be someone who didn't like Baccano! and certainly that someone would find it boring. Also sleepless panda: just because you break that stereotype doesn't mean you're doing justice to female characters.

I did feel like Baccano! had some strong leading ladies. One girl brought knives to a gun fight, she was winning.

NOW we're talking about breaking stereotypes.
