I dunno. I wouldn't want it in 3D though. I hate 3D.

Noooo. It'd probably have to be in anaglyph (red/cyan) for accessibility reasons, and that's ugly as hell. >.>

Not to mention there's no 3D anime I know of, I don't know how you'd get rips of a 3D anime, and there's ZERO demand for a 3D AMV Hell.

Sorry if you're disappointed, but it ain't happenin', 'specially any time soon. :P

Unless you have a team of professionals with the ability to convert it into 3D, then no. Even if you did it would look like really bad.

plus, I'm sure no one has one of those new fancy graphics cards that makes it so people can actually use 3D footage.

unless this becomes standard for computers, then I'm sure nobody is going to demand such a thing.

great question though, it's good to know that I'm not the only person who despises 3D in all it's movie ruining glory.

I dont see anything that was created in a 2D environment regardless of cg BG's Is able to be perfectly converted to a stereoscopic effect that would be enjoyable to watch. As for the Yu-Gi-Oh 3d It would probably look like a paper doll over top a depth perceptive CG BG while effects and props are overlayed and frame shifted alternating the left and right eye to give a pop effect. Think of a pop-up book, Parts are all flat but are at different depths thats exactly what it would look like. Now who ever said you need a fancy gfx card for 3d is alittle false, Stereoscopic capable cards go way back before HD televisions. Most likely if you have an Nvidia card you have it. It never really took off cause lack of game developers takeing advantage of it and the merge between CRT to LCD was going on, 120hz didnt exist in LCDs at that time to make it work regardless Nvidia kept the tech around.

Addon: Only real feasible way an anime can be purely depth perceptive is if animators were to fully soft shade their characters & everything else rather than the sharp shadow and highlight falloffs. Problems with this is not only does it take the anime stylization out of the picture it would take a ****load of time which is why they shade them the way they are. When I mean **** load I mean quadrupole the time due haveing to shade it twice (one for each eye). Also having to guess the differences in lighting per eye, If the shadow falloffs are too far apart from each other in each eye the depth effect would be too great. Just that alone takes way too much mental calculating. Why go though all that time and hard work when you can just simply take your work into a 3d environment with 3d subjects and setup two cameras in the workspace and its a done deal. However If anyone ever pulls that off I would love to shake their hand and slap them for wasting years of their life.

whip out your red and blue glasses!!!!
Woops been awhile since I did a anaglyph and forgot the chromatically opposite "cyan" is more popular with glasses than blue, awell the effect should work with cyan ones but with color bleed.
