One of the things I enjoy about this kind of project is the chance to hear new music that I'd have missed otherwise (since I'm not much of a casual listener.)

AMVH4 songs I'm planning to hunt down in their full versions now:

Burning for you--Blue Oyster Cult
Dragostea Din Tei--O-Zone (Heard bits of it before, but...)
Ready To Die--Andrew W.K.
Dirty Deeds Done With Sheep--Bob Rivers
I Need More Allowance--The Beets
Great Mighty Poo--Conker's Bad Furday Soundtrack
The Ballad Of Timothy McSweeny--They Might Be Giants
Padam--Kwan (Just wanna hear the rest of the song)
Can't Stop The Rock--Apollo 440
Blue--Eiffel 65
Every Time We Touch--Cascada
The March Of The Sinister Ducks--The Sinister Ducks
Heut Ist Mein Tag--Blumchen Vs Roh
Rat Race--Baha Men (I've heard it before but can't think where. Maybe it was on the Rat Race movie?)
Ghost Love Score--Nightwish

Yep, the Rat Race song was from the movie credits.

Hilarious film, btw. I highly recommend it for ridiculous amounts of silliness.

The Smiths are full of awesome. I've been listening to them for at least 20 years.

Is that THE David Hasselholf (from Baywatch)? I had no idea. I do like the song though. I recognized the "Ooga chaka" backup from "Reservoir Dogs", but I'm not sure if it was the same song.

Other great songs:
Andrew KW, "Ready to Die" (Death Note)
M.C.R., "I'm Not OK" (also Death Note)
Blue Oyster Cult, "Godzilla" (Afro-Ken)

Andrew W.K. - New York City (reminded me of Meat from Super Freakin' Parody Rangers; "OH YEAH!")
Andrew W.K. - Time to Die
Voltaire- Alchemy Mondays

Are we talking songs that we enjoyed, or types of music? :P I enjoy most of what was featured..although some were just plain awful.

So many.. To mention a few I've already hunted down:

Andrew W.K. - Ready to Die
Lemon Demon - Knife Fight
My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade
Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten

I'm gonna get:
My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise)
Napoleon XIV - They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha-Haaa!
Metallica - Shoot Me Again (never really liked Metallica before... Actually I've stayed away from that band as much as I can, and I was a bit blown off when I found out the song was by Metallica.. but good music is good music I guess)

for some reason I also like the David Hasselhoff - Hooked on a Feeling clip... is that like a remix or is it really just the regular version of the song?

There's a bunch of other cool songs I'm gonna check out, but I just can't remember the name of em' right now.. Brilliant playlist ^^,

Hooked on a feeling is an older song that has been covered by a lot of artists. The Hoff just happens to be the one who made it really famous (read: hysterical)

Only the David Hasselhoff Version contains the ever famous Ooga Chacka beat. But this was a techno remix of it.

Welcome to Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.
I never liked this band, but this song was awesome :D

Another neat song was Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi and I was glad to hear again I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffeil 65 , the vocalist is not only from my country (Italy) but he's also from my town (Siracusa) :D

I've been searching high and low for the remix of Heut Ist Mein Tag, but I can't so much as find a clip of it on YouTube. Does anyone know where I could at least hear it?

While we're on the subject of dance music:

"Move Your Dead Bones", Dr. Reanimator (Hellsing)
"Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA", Basshunter (Death Note)
"Pop Star", Ken Heiri (Perfect Blue)

What is it about that genre of music that works so well with AMVs?

If you're willing and able to fork out full-CD prices for singles:
Ebay 1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bluemchen-Heut-Ist-Mein-Tag-CD-Single_W0QQitemZ180168820865QQihZ008QQcategoryZ307 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem)

Ebay 2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/jasmin-wagner-BLUMCHEN-Heut-Is-Mein-GERMANY-CD-single_W0QQitemZ160050789478QQihZ006QQcategoryZ307 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem)

To be fair, it looks like it's a 'single' with four different tracks on it--versions of the same song, including the Roh remix.
