I cant see how they expect to make a device that pipes entertainment and not have demand for adult entertainment. I think its ridiculous to refuse a content to a select audience that could turn a massive licensing profit. I just thought it was going through XNA since the indie game section in live is rated as a community and not the esrb :P

Well, this is coming out in Japan, so it won't be rated by the ESRB xD (that is, unless it makes it stateside...which is doubtful :P)

The reason for that is simple- the kiddie/family/casual thing sells these days. M$ would rather have the xbox branded as a kid's toy than a sex one. Kinda sad, really, 'specially since violent games get by just fine.

My guess is that they're letting it get by because the Xbox is doing MISERABLY in Japan. Nintendo and Sony are killing them over thar :P

LOL but its a damn computer!!! Its running a power PC architecture (MAC :P) with a damn nvidia gpu, all consoles are computers meant to run certain software on their architecture an should be marketed as proprietary computer meant to play games not as a child/family/casual system. M$ just doesnt market it their **** as in sonys example "SONY Computer Entertainment" but even then sony still pulls the same **** of not licensing but not as bad some do get through. God could you imagine if nintendo didnt have that barrier, the amount of adult games would be endless for the wii :P

mind you Im not just talking porn games :P this also applies to 18+ VN's which sony was generous enough to let a few through the cracks and be released on the PS2, dont know about the ps3 tho. Im not entirely sure if they were even licensed since it was before all games had to be licensed which is why we dont have codebreakers and gamsharks anymore :(

It has nothing to do with just porn lol just general adult material which would include full frontal nudity, like god of war which had a sex scene but didnt show full frontal nudity and thats what pissed me off. You cant get an immersion feeling in a story with some sort of mosaic pissing you off.
