To start, in Neon Genesis Evangelion, why must the pilots of the original Eva series be 14 year olds?

If i remember correctly. It has something to do with conflicting souls, cause i don't think its strictly 14 yr olds so much as it has to be Shinji in Unit 01, Asuka in unit 02 (Tabris was explained), and so on. With Yui's soul in Unit 01 she wouldn't permit anyone other than Shinji in the Unit, hence when Rei tried for the cross syncro it didn't work. As for why Unit 00 worked for Shinji it can only be explained by the essence of the dummy plug because Unit 00's captive soul was that of a Rei clone and i guess She just Liked Shinji enough. Unit 01 was explained Unit 00 wasn't so that was just my best guess.

Silent Hill 2 is a game drowning in symbolism, which is why reading the ol wiki won't help since its something meant to be experienced not read...so he must have some reason special to James (The main character)


And the parachutes, my guess come from whoever supplies Rico with all his mail order vehicles...but I think Matt was right about them just being pulled out of his ass.

Partially incorrect. They tried the dummy plug on Unit 01. It wouldn't work without Shinji in the plug. This makes me theorize that the only reason it worked while he was in the plug was because Yui knew Shinji would die before fight his friend and she wasn't going to let that happen. Kaworu on the other hand was Tabris, the 17th angel, this allowed him to take control of Unit 02 which he himself implied was still only possible because Unit 02's soul had retreated. This was most likely due to the same reason Asuka was unable to pilot. So. Both situations where a unit is controlled by anyone other than the original pilot, not that you can call Asuka and Shinji that, are explained by the rare exceptions of the inhabiting souls permitting external interference.

Simply. Those were story arcs that were done Chiaki Konaka, who would later do Tamers and Lain. They were much better told and much more awesome than the other storyarcs of 02, but due to conflicting ideals in the studio (They half-assed 02 so they could get it out quicker) major plot holes emerged. For that 02 bombed, as it was only made to cash in on season 1.

Tamers, on the hand, WAY BETTER. I mean, WAY THE **** BETTER.

Referring to the Manga/Anime difference, I think it is because the creators ether didn't like what the manga had to offer so they decided to change it. Or because they want to treat the anime and manga as different stories with similar situations. Evangelion seems to be a good example of a change in a change in story.

Or maybe its like Soul Eater where they just wanted to slap on a conclusion thinking it will be close to the end of the animes run anyways.

If you play SH2 and get every ending stuff, even the some of the puzzles make sense as to why they're there.

Because some dumbass thought using Disney characters as protagonists to fight of Sephiroth and super-evil-guys would be a good idea. Unfortunately, the plan backfired. The story is ****ty as **** and only people with down syndrome can enjoy it. Faildom Hearts has some good gameplay, but the ****ty story takes the fun out of it.
The better question for a Kingdom Hearts is "How the **** are they still making games and maintaining a fanbase?"

Answer: Browser wanted to keep the princess so his intent to create so many false castles was an attempt to cause Mario to die before he reached Peach. At least that's what the wiki said. But it said nothing about why the toads were in the castles along the way.

Hard scoping is how the gun is meant to be used, quick scoping is the cheap way to get kills. Fricken a one hit kill weapon that auto aims for the player? Just no.

End of Eva takes place pretty much right after the anime ended so the Human Instrumentality project had not begun until the movie launched.

They're called Harmonix, they also made the first three Guitar Hero games :P

And they got into a bit of a spamfest a year ago or so, but they've calmed down. They release a track pack every few months for people without interwebz or what have you, but otherwise they really don't have any games announced besides Dance Central 2 and an (as of now) unnamed 3DS game. :P

But they were recently sold by Viacom, so we may have the opposite problem. :\

Whole series, but all of the songs in every game (save for 3 in Rock Band 1, a few in Rock Band 2, and everything on The Beatles Rock Band) are playable in Rock Band 3, so pick and choose what you like 83

And that setlist is a bit outdated. There are probably around 100+ songs that have been added since then. :\

...it's only slightly smaller than the number of on-disc songs for Guitar Hero 4, 5, and 6 put together, and those are classic rock songs only. O.o;

And the three of those games all have PLENTY of music from 2000+.

And that's not even counting all the songs that end up in "Rock."

Evangelion did have its down points(REALLY BIG DOWNPOINTS), its not the BEST ANIME EVER, but still an anime I'd recommend every Anime fan should watch, whether you like it or not is up to you. The Psychological Aspects, while at first engaging, get old and even I (even in my most daunting of Despair Event Horizons) know that Life is about the experiences you have, and I am me. (Everyone else can go **** themselves, :P) Seriously we didn't need FIVE EPISODES Dedicated to finding that out. Sheesh, it makes me want to read my Alan Moore Comics, its least engaging (All it takes is one Bad day to drive even the sanest man alive to lunacy...)

The only reason I liked the show was A. Giant Monsters (I am a sucker for Kaiju, as my namesake should say) B. Unique Post Apocalyptic Scenario(They rebuilt after Y2K, instead of living in the ruins going MadMax on each other) C. The Comedy (Asuka and Shinji are comedy gold when in the same room with eachother) and D. FANSERVICE (Seriously I first saw the show when I was fifteen, and Asuka in that plugsuit...Oh Yay!)

They made the first TWO Guitar Hero games. When #3 came out they released Rock Band 1

And Rock Band is jet as challenging as Guitar Hero. (Refering to the series) For every "Through the Fire and Flames" there's a "Visions." Check them up, pretty difficult ****.

If you ask me and my WMG theory, the World of Eva is also the World of.... The Cthulhu Mythos. *gasp*

From my WMG Theory, I gather that the First Ancestral Race were in fact the Elder Things who descended to Earth during their struggle with the Great Old Ones.

And So, The Elder Things created the Angels and Shoggoths to combat the Old Ones (HEnce why Zeruel can comprehend ANYTHING) however when the Shoggoths turned on the Elder Things, the Elder Things decided to terminate all everything similiar to "Adam" (Who was created from an Old One) including themselves, starting the true "First Impact". The Old Ones retreated to their prisons where they await to this day... that is until the stars are right. (Or until Nyaralathotep gets bored and decides it wants to screw with us)

So the "Lilum" inherited the earth blissfully unaware of the terrors that lurk at the threshold of the unknown... afterall we were never meant to travel far into that sea of ignorance.
