I kinda made it in mind for people who've never seen the anime, sort of to introduce them to it before they see it. It also helps to build a story arc, for a sense of structure... I wish more music videos did that these days.
The people I showed just the intro to seemed to be interested in where it was going, so I think I did well with drawing in an audience that wasn't familiar with the source material.
First amv done with my new faster computer, made this almost a breeze. I prefer creating music videos with story arcs. This is the first half of the series of Deathnote. 25+ episodes summed up in 7 and a half minutes. The video is separated into three segments, intro, the actual amv, and a credits ending with scenes from the live action movie, for kicks. I also threw in something at the very very end that I found to be funny.
Also: WARNING... there are MAJOR SPOILERS ahead for those who haven't seen the series.
