Surfing the otakon.com forums, i came across some talk of plagiarism between amv hell 3.14 (now known as "amv salad") and hell 4. From what i take from it, the main producer had some submissions on his hard drive from previous amv hell-esq videos he was producing, and when a fellow editor saw the clip, that other editor submitted it to amv hell 4 under his own name. When the poster watched the two vids (salad and hell 4) he saw the identicle clips, thus where we stand right now. the link to the thread is http://board.otakon.com/viewtopic.php?p=162560#162560. check it out and let me know what yall think of this. I am kind of upset, i liked the clip and want the right person to get credit for it. I know that i would be upset to find my work in some other place without my name attached to it atleast somewhere...

That did happen with a clip, and apparently it's all been taken care of. The correct editor got credit for his clip in AMVH4. At least, that's my understanding of how it stands---I talked to the person because I had a clip *similar* (not identical) to another one of his get in and we had a discussion about it---I wanted to reassure him I hadn't stolen his concept.

I still havent heard anything from the person who submitted the clip, but the credits have been corrected on the credits list and for the version that will go on the dvd.
