Some Buddy Should Make an Amv Hell Card Game and Sell it Online I Would buy it
Heck, why not? My sister and I used to play the Harry Potter card series (which "went over like a fart in a diving helmet"*, didn't it?), so I can definately see AMV Hell as a card game. Three words: Holographic Bleeping Osaka.

Hmmm, you've gots me thinking.
AMV Hell: THE RCG (Randomized Card Game)
Rules:
40 Card Deck.
There are no turns, instead both players move at once, called a 'Round'.
Instead of drawing into a hand, cards are played directly from the top of the deck into play. (Random, no? Sorta like...*gasp*)
The cards from the deck are either 'Battlers', 'Transitions', or 'Theme Events'
Battlers: When you and your opponent place the top card from the deck, it is these cards that...well, battle. ALL Battlers have three stats: Impact, Hilarity, and Tech. Battles, in fact, go in that order: First you compare the Impact stat, then the Hilarity stat, then the Tech. stat. The first battler to get two higher numbers (The Tech stat, therefore, may never come into play!) wins and is shuffled back into the owner's deck. The loser is sent to the discard pile. A Tie results in both battlers being shuffled back into the deck. Some Battlers have Effects that are applied when stated. Stats are on a 1 to 9 natural scale.
Transitions: Cards that have a one-use, immediate effect on the game. If you reveal a Transition, the effect stated on the card is instantly applied. The Transition is then either sent to the discard pile, removed from play, or shuffled back into the deck (The card will state which).
Theme Events: Once revealed, this card stays in play until certain requrements on the card are met. While in play, the Event will give out an effect (for the owner, for the opponent, or both), after the requirement is met, it is removed from play. There can only be one event in play at any time. If another Event is revealed, the old event is sent to the discard pile instantly, instead of being removed from play, unless otherwise stated.
WIN CONDITION: When a player has 20 (or more, due to an effect) cards in his or her discard pile, that player has lost. The opponent can check your discard pile at any time, and vice versa. Also, if a player cannot reveal a card, that player has lost.
EDITS: CARDS!
http://www.agelessinfinity.com/cards/Bleeping%20Osaka.jpghttp://www.agelessinfinity.com/cards/Starmanlosealife.jpghttp://www.agelessinfinity.com/cards/hardRockandRolling.jpg
I sign that I have made the above, and that the rules and card effects can only be used by permission. The heads/leaders of AMV Hell have permission. XD
If I had to sum this game up, each game is like watching one of the AMV Hell movies for the very first time. You don't quite know what's going to happen next, and each round brings more and more interesting things. You don't need a lot of brainpower to play, either...and hopefully, the balance is to the point you can play with your favorite clips and still have the exact same shot of winning as the one right across from you ^_^
I will be making the entire series (excellent for a portfolio...), since it's so coherent, yet totally random XD

If AMV Hell was the start of an AMV Genre (Hell-style), then doesn't it make sense to have it's card game start it's own genre? XD
More cards soon.

They will be, since I've got the support (AKA: people wanting to play it)...
Sets will be done from top to bottom:
AMV Hell 4 set: 2/254 cards done.
AMV Hell 3 set: 1/222 cards done.
AMV Hells 1,2, and CE set: 0/92-95 done.
I'm debating a AMVH0 set at the moment...
You'll have to let us know where and when we can download these cards once you get it set up (would there be a fee?)
Also, would you be open to suggestions for card ideas?

I (or whoever's got them) will let you know where they will be, and no, there will be no fee, since it is a fan-made game...
As for card ideas...with 550+ cards to do, I'm sure I'm going to be stuck on more than a few. Quite more than a few...
Also, I will have a set where it's just nothing but suggestions, like the AMV Hells themselves. Can't have all the fun now can I? XD
Also, if anyone thinks a card effect is too out there or you think there's something better it can do, just let me know.
The 1st Fan Set will be open once I have Set 1: AMV Hell 4 done. Since that will give everyone time to learn how to play, figure out the inner workings of the game, and plan accordingly.
My MSN is now to the left, under my picture XD feel free to add me if you're going to be nice and civil about it ^_^
And here's some Death Note RCG action XD

Actually it's easier to play with them if you put them in there while an actual card is in there to keep it stiff or you can paste them onto the front of crappy common cards and forego the sleeves.
I know there's a special kind of printer paper that's thicker than the standard kind. Printing the cards on that would help, I'd imagine.

Yu-Gi-Oh cards are smaller than the cards that this is shaped for. Try looking for old Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, or any similarily shaped/sized card if you're going that route.
Another thing to note is that the cards don't lose a thing gameplay-wise if printed in only black and white.
Oh, and there will be enough cards for a playable deck by the 27th, and on that date, the full rules (which is basically what I posted earlier with some situational rules, like if both players reveal a Theme Event and such) will be posted as well.
This topic is getting pretty cluttered...

Business cards, if I'm thinking right, are smaller than Yu-Gi-Oh cards O.o
It's up to the end user for the print size (it'll default to the correct size, though...no idea how readable it would be if it was any smaller -_-)
Although the Business Cards might be of use in terms of what paper they use, it's certainly sturdy enough...it's just size.

Printing Issues:
These cards are HUGE. So unless you like really, really large cards, don't print these out unless you decide to re-size them. Width being 2.5 worked better on my printer than anything else did.
Also, I'm re-doing each card. The Effect text is hard to see as it is, so I'm using a thinner, easier-to-read text for the text effects only...the rest of the text will still be nice and bloody ^_^ This will NOT affect the playable, downloadable .zip containing the cards ready for print, to be ready on the 27th.
EDIT: It seems that Calibri is the way to go here for the Effect Text. It shrunk well and is readable on the intended size cards.
The first post should show it, but adding it here as well...

Lol, the game doesn't even have enough cards out to be played and there's already a want for an online version XD
Here are some ideas for ya':
"Run, Osaka, Run" (from Azumanga daioh/ special olympics/AMVH4)
Transition: without looking, take one of the top five cards from your deck and play it in place of this card. At the end of this round, send that card to the discard pile and shuffle this card back into the deck.
Limit 2 per deck
"Get Ready to Die" (from Death Note/ Ready to die/AMVH4)
Transition: both players discard the top five cards from their deck
limit 1 per deck
"Who will get the Dew?" (from Evangelion/ Mountain Dew commercial/AMVH2)
theme: this card stays in play for five rounds. At the end of the fifth round, the player with fewer cards in his/her discard pile takes one card from their discard pile and shuffles it back into their deck.
limit 2 per deck
Tericotta Pie (from excel saga-dears-hale+guu-others/vicinity of obcinity/AMVHCE)
battler: if this card's stats beat those of your opponent, he/she must discard the bottom card from their deck. If your opponent's stats are higher, you must discard the top card from your deck.
Impact: 5 Hilarity: 7 tech:5
limit 3 per deck
feel free to make any changes where you deem appropriate (don't even have to use these. I'll be back with more.) also, if you don't mind me saying, the "game ends when 20 cards are discarded" rule seems a tad restrictive. i'm just saying...

Run, Osaka, RUN!: Quite random. On one point, it's essentially just you revealing a standard card. But it ruins "peek" and "set-up" abilities set up beforehand...on both sides. I can certainly see this as a combo with a card in my notes.
Get Ready to Die: Too Powerful unless I put the "Hell's Ace" Tag on it, which would restrict you from playing other Hell's Aces.
Who will Get the Dew?: I rather like this one. Ruins Discard Decks, and gives the lucky person not one, but two advantages. It's primary weakness is that it has a HUGE tendency to be knocked out of play before this even happens.
Tericotta Pie: Another one I like. I wouldn't have this at three per deck, though...maybe two. It's got this monster card advantage ability...
The Win Condition being too strict: There are plenty of cards that mess with the discard pile, and cards in the pile aren't going to stay there permanently. Once I get some feedback from some actual games, the amount might change, but I think since you have to go through at least half your deck to lose...dunno. This RCG is considered a beta for all intents and purposes, things might change when the official set is released.
As for the new terms I've used:
New Feature: Hell's Ace: Hell's Ace are very powerful, but are limited to one per deck...and we're talking about excluding other Hell's Aces from the deck, not just other copies of the same card! There will be HA and regular "1 per deck" styles of each card, the HA version will have the numbering slightly different, and have "Hell's Ace" under it's name. Eventually, all cards will have an Hell's Ace version as well. Note that you cannot have the HA version and the regular version of a card in the same deck.
Also some new terms: Extra and Featured Effects. That line under the picture? not only is it nicely informative, but the text inside can also be used for effects as well...For example, there is a card that has a [2x Featured: Death Note: Discard Pile] requirement, which means that there must be two cards with Death Note in the Featured Line in your Discard Pile for it's effect to be used. This is considered a "Changing effect", the card will still have a use if you don't meet the Extra requirement (ther might be other Extra requirements out there, but they use no terms like a Feature Effect does). All Featured Effects are Extras. People worrying about complexity will find that the rules are still on the cards and not in some book you need to refer to...and this feature might vanish before the beta is over.
Oh, and the effect text area is rather nice looking now...quite easy to read once you print these off. Battlers have more room for effects.
It's amazing how much thought and effort you're putting into this! I promise to help out in any way I can (namely, by downloading the cards once they're available and suggesting more ideas).

It just keeps getting better and better.
Here are a couple more Ideas for you...
"My Swedish Friend" (featuring Azumanga Daioh/"Hurt")
Battler: If this card defeats another battler in the first round it is played, shuffle two cards from your discard pile back into to your deck.
Impact: 8 Hilarity: 8 Tech: 6
Limit 1 per deck (AMVHCE)
"My Swedish Friend" Ace card (featuring Beserk/"Hurt")
Battler: If this card defeats another battler, shuffle two cards from your discard pile back into your deck.
Impact: 8 Hilarity: 8 Tech: 7
Limit 1 per deck (AMVHCE)
As always, feel free to change what needs changing.

I don't think I'll be revealing more cards until Friday...saves bandwidth on my end some XD
My Swedish Friend: Not only is it's stats O.O, but the "First Round" mechanic doesn't exist in that form yet.
My Swedish Friend (Ace): It wouldn't be featuring Beserk. I would increase his Tech to 8 and give him a slight negative effect as well.
Once the card game is up and running, I should be able to offer more appropriate suggestions in terms of powers and stats.
