Umm, I guess everyone forgot about Mayu's mother and step father from Elfen Lied. And the pokemon thing, First of all, it seems like kids dont age in pokemon, hell Satoshi has been 10 since '98.....

Oh, and I don't think Gendo is the worst parent, he was neglectful and manipulative, yes, but there are far worse parents than that.

Any one of Satoko's Step Fathers from the same series, they tied her to the chair and force fed her pumpkin... and as anyone knows, feeding a child food they don't like is pure torture...especially when said child is mentally unstable...

and the Director from the Elfen Lied Manga...he turned his daughter into an eldritch abomination...
I would say Giovanni from Pokemon.... but he's so manly he's the sole reason there are only Female Kangaskhan.

Also about Gendo...In some of the Manga spinoffs, he's the best. dad. ever. OF ALL TIME. Yui Ikari on the other hand... Magneficent Bitch fails to some her up.

the dad in Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai wouldn't allow manga/anime/eroge in his house and punched Kyousuke right in his face, but i def would say Rosa is worse.

Seriously in the ten years Ash hasn't been aging or becoming a pokemon master (he's never even seen or heard of one) he's talked to his mom like 6 times?

He's so unsupervised that he's crawled into a valcano, sunk on a ship, nearly flew to the moon, been shrunk and taken prisoner by a psychic, been turned into a ghost, had lethal amounts of electricity shot through his body every day for a month, been set on fire multiple times, and that was just the first two seasons off the top of my head.
