(sorry if I'm asking software help on a hell forum, but...)
I wanted to try trimming Hell 4 down a bit for something, but I can't get exact cuts in VirtualDub... The input it shows isn't the output I get, so I end up with extra stuff on either end of my cuts. I don't remember having this trouble with Hell 0... Is it something about the Hell 4 avi, or something about VirtualDub?

? ? ?
Wait, what are you doing? "Trimming it down for something" sounds suspicious to me. *GASP!* Are you stealing clips?! You horrible, horrible person! >:(

Can I at least have a " ;) " with that? Throw me a bone, here.

why would anyone in this forum help you defile the project? i mean, like...are you serious?
Now let's not jump all over this guy. After all, he is just an outsider (a.k.a. Guest). Let's hear what Zarxrax has to say about this.

Oi. I just wanted to make a selection of my favorites to show to some people (and also just as a way to waste time). I'm under time constraints, plus the DN and CG spoilers. Sorry if I offended your sensibilities with "defiling the project" or "stealing clips". My only concern here was asking a possibly-just-VDub question in a video question forum. I don't know anything about video editing, so I was wondering if there was something in the way the AVI file was made that is causing this difficulty.

Well, I resorted to running it through Dr. DivX, and now I'm not having any more problems making my selections. "lol compression artifacts", yes, but since it'd be on a projection screen, I guess it wouldn't be too noticeable. Sorry if this whole notion was pissing people off; I guess I'll just have to settle for this.
