Well with the AMV Minis submissions opened up again I suppose it is time for me to re-open AMV Paradise. This time I was hoping to actually make it past the 10 minute mark and maybe make something that is at least 15 minutes of rejects. But without yalls help I doubt I will make it very far. Anyway Zarxrax has changed the rules slightly so I shall change mine ever so slightly to coincide with the changes. All the new rules are mark in red.
The rules are as follows:




1. Please send all videos to either this email address: amvparadise@yahoo.com or as a PM
I shall send you a email back confirming that I got your clip. You can use MirrorCreator or upload your video to Youtube. Just send me the link of your video. If you use Youtube keep in mind the quality will probably not be as good. ALL FORMATS ARE ACCEPTED :D

2. Your clip must have been rejected
No longer am I just taking rejections from AMV Hell/Minis. I am now taking rejections from whatever project you go rejected from. The clip you are submitting could have been rejected in the past, present, or future (meaning it was so bad you didn't even bother sending it in because you knew it would be rejected.) The original point was that all the clips were rejected from hell and went to paradise, now that I changed it I guess the name with just stand for franchise sake.


3. ABSOLUTELY NO HENTAI!!!
This rules still stands. I'm putting this up on youtube and youtube hates hentai.

4.Your video must be 30 seconds or under.
standard fare, also swearing is accepted and will not be censored so If you video was rejected for that content, your in luck.

5.It can be an American animation clip
Yep, Zarxrax is making a special and with any special there are bound to be some rejects so send them on over. They will appear in a separate video.

6. PLEASE USE THIS FORMAT, IF NOT, THEN I SHALL NOT ACCEPT

Okay then, now that that's out of the way I can add a few other notes

1. I'm using a new editing software so mp4s will work the best for me.

2. I plan on uploading this to Youtube (if it's ever completed). I'll also upload it to Megaupload.

3. This is in no way shape or form official, or affiliated with AMV Hell/Mins other than the fact I'm using rejected clips. Zarxrax also has nothing to do with this.

4. I know that if you submitted you clips the first couple of times you will probably have no clips for me. But have no fear I will be taking submissions until it's completed which no doubt won't be for a while.

5. If you think I'm missing anything important than post it here. I promise that I shall credit all who participate and want to be credited. So folks, send me your worst. For a third time. Send me your clips with jokes that: make no sense, have been overused, or are just plain unfunny. Because by golly, someone has to use these clips.

Just to clarify, the rejected hentai clips that I don't like will be in the deleted scenes video I am making along side that project. Not many people have noticed that I added that in so I guess some people will be surprised to find their clips not in the video they submitted to.

It is a creditless video so you would just put your credits over it instead of having them roll on a black screen. If you have an interest I will just send you the video in a PM so you can give it the Yay (Want to use it) or nay (What is this I don't even...)

Good/Bad news my helpers, Project Dynamite has been accepted to be used as it was origionaly intended. Yes, thats right, it will be the ending video rolling durring the upcoming AMV Paradise 3: Revenge of the Rejected video. I tried the yellow text for the last part of Paradise 3's name here like it looks like in the new picture for the series but it was too hard to read. So its red now.

Because of this, I will be releasing a creditless version the day Paradise 3 comes out for everyone but because of this change, anyone who worked on this will be given a download link to watch it early if you ask. Actually I do have four clips that may or may not be rejected but I also don't want to flood the minis entree list with 4 submissions at once...don't know what to do since they are four that need to be seen together to work. If the deadline extends I think I will submit them to Hell and see if they make it or now.

Also the credits for the credit video, don't bother trying to get all the animes listed. Way too many of them were used to make it worth anyone's time to compile a list of em.

I think clips must be rejected to get in to this or not have the chance to get accepted. Or else your taking away the vary thing that makes this series unique. I'm talking straight through. You can stop and watch the minis again anytime too but you had a good point just saying you have watched the movies more. I guess its just personal tastes so, yeah. And I really want to release Project Dynamite so I can start my next one. Not really your issue but out of respect for my concern that videos are not seen before the release I wont be able to send it out until its used in Paradise 3 to not spoil the surprise. I hate seeing things redundantly, that's why I am a strong supporter for clips having to be rejected or not submitted because they may be rejected so they are not used here and the spoiled when seen later in other shows by accident.

Soooo if I get to direct Paradise 4 like I am still going to keep suggesting, that will be my one stipulation for a higher quality video over all...just fyi about the way I work.

I meant early release :P I'm still considering the co-directing. I don't see what the problem is, all clips that are in Paradise 1 through 3 have been rejected. And I plan on keeping it that way. I'm fairly certain that all Paradise clips that made it into other videos made it there later.

Most have but if you remember the two that got in from the April Fools joke Zarxrax did. Those had not been rejected yet and got in to Paradise 1 because people thought they would not be used.

Also, shoot I interpreted what you said wrong about videos being rejected in the past present or (future) my apologies for my misunderstanding. But in my defense you did say about a page or two back in this thread that it was ok for clips that are not yet rejected but not looking like they will get in are ok to submit...AH now it looks like I am trying to start a fight.
