Seiyu Kawakami Tomoko passed away on June 9th, 2011. She was 41 years old. She had been struggling against ovary cancer since 2008.

Damn...just damn. I didn't know her very well, but she voiced Utena AND Soi Fon...Damn...

Well, Bleach might just pull a Last Airbender and do what they did in iroh's case, give him no speaking roles untill a replacement is found. Or like Backmask said it might end, or they'll just kill off Soi-Fon. ...

NOOOOOOOO! i didn't know her by name really - but my favorite voice actress did a few of her characters in English as Hilary Haag did both Satsuki in Ghost Stories as well As Rosette in Chrono Crusade.

41 years, a great seiy?...

Sometimes, when a Seiy? dies, it feels like the characters he/she dubbed die.

She will be missed by me and by everyone... so sad T.T
