The signatures are once again getting out of hand, so here are the new rules. Your signature should not exceed a size of 1000x300 pixels, or a filesize of 200kb.
In other words, your entire signature (including any text) should fit inside of this space:

I'll give a couple of weeks for people to start changing their signatures on their own, and after that I may start deleting signatures that violate the rule.


Also, if you don't want to view other people's signatures. you can disable them by going to the "Quick links" menu at the top of the page, and then choosing "edit options", and then uncheck "Show Signatures".

This happens in all the forums. No exceptions. Majority of people read that line "maximum allowed signature size" as "recommended signature size".

I think sigs shouldn't exceed 150px (or 200) height by 800px width. Reason for this is because 150-200 is a pretty standard height among many sites and the 800 width is the lowest res to be in with XP (Without safemode). This allows for unnecessary scroll bars in that res and allows easy load times with a better viewing experience on a mobile device.

And thats all I got to say about that, If it ever bugged anyone you can just shut the sigs off from the control panel....

Since all sigs here are external Its not going to make a difference on load times when your pulling a gif thats 120kb from a slow retarded server Vs. 1mb from a good one. Regardless of the size your not gonna make the load time better on the avg user speed of 720kb/s by keeping it to a minimum if at all its marginal with various server speeds.

Plus on the bright side 90% of you already have these retarded titty gifs cached on your browser along with everyone elses XD
