Personally, I have no idea about how it was, mainly because I have to wait at least for 4 months before I can listen to a cheap dubbed version, but, knowing how down the drain the overused "Superhero" genre is going at the moment, I think I can easily picture a movie like "Green Lantern"...

I think what pissed me off most about the movie.

It was, as far as I knew, this origin tale of Hal Jordon with an emphasis of GLC - in space.

Instead we get this boring and broken - 'mostly on earth' - story about some looser who feels pity for himself.

Uck.


We need to get the dudes who made X-Men: First Class on this property and do a reboot now.

Get rid of that ****ty CGI costume and focus on the space part.

There is much more then just plot holes. It mishandles the Green Lantern brand, the casting is completely screwed up, CGi is sloppy and more. I posted the video to inform not insult. I was trying to say in my last comment, don't comment on a comment unless you take the time to actually read (in this case watch) it.

There is something called fighting for a cause. In this case it was more "complain for a reason not just to complain"

I'm not really interested in the Green Lantern, I don't feel like debating the movie with people. It wasn't as good as the animated stuff but I still enjoyed it, end of discussion. You're taking this way too seriously. =\

No, you are still missing the point. I am not talking about whether or not the movie is good or bad if you would actually take the time to read what I am trying to get you to talk about. I am saying you should complain only if you have a reason to. I really don't see how that's not clear when I directly said it twice. Why would you comment on something without taking the time to explain your comment since it was not related to what I had to say?

See how I follow up on a comment by explaining why it is of importance and repeat the topic at hand to allow for confusion to be avoided? That's what I am looking for, I think it is along the lines of arguing with a sense of maturity and coherence/consistency and is not something I should have to explain to someone whose not under the age of 15. (That last sentence of mine is admittedly childish but I doubt you will focus on anything but it. Try and look past it and reply to the first part talking about why you would argue just to argue.) I have a point to make weather you like it or not about acting like an adult.

To edit myself a little. I did jump to an argument and took the first comment you had as a response to mine too seriously. Use that and spread the word, maturity is something we should all promote. I'm now a promoter after I realized how respectable it is, recently.

And SleeplessPanda, don't back down when you have lost, prove to me that you can respond without instigating a fight or ignoring the matter at hand. It goes along with what I am talking about being mature. Just give an explanation like "I am sorry I didn't understand what you said the first time and I would appreciate you not jumping at everything I say." or "I would really not want to continue this." or something that's not just folding your arms and walking away with a pout. Finish what you started and use them words your High School teachers pumped into your head.

Well I am trying to argue something, and asked a few questions I want answers to. One of which being (I can't believe I am repeating this again) why would you respond to something without understanding it?

The other was a proposition for a deal that, judging by your last comment not being like I asked for, your answer was a "No I don't want your deal." Is that correct or did I misunderstand you?

I am not overreacting, you just keep avoiding what I am asking for. Now lets get what I want answered out of the way so I can shut up already. (I asked two questions in this post, please answer both of them. I even put them in bold not to show I am angry just to highlight them so they are even clearer to understand. If your referring to the thing I was going on about it was not about the movie, it was about people complaining about everything in general for no reason. Also it was about people responding to something without having the gull to understand what they read or watched. I am trying to also make it clear that I don't bitch for no reason, I am just ignored often times so people can squeeze out a comment to try and make me look bad or insult me. I am sure you have had that problem as well at some point in your life.

MovieBob is known for thrashing something he dosn't like almost as harsh as Yahtzee from the Zero Punctuation reviews. But at least MovieBob explains why he has the harsh views over something. Complaints for a reason and all of that nonsense I like to preach about.
