I noticed we in the AMV Hell steam community page (link in my sig) like to play video games together, so I thought it would be cool to organize a community game at a certain time (like we did with Halo that one time). Yay for community things!

...any ideas for what we can play? xD

I have a couple:


Team Fortress 2. I can use my desktop as a server, and the game is free now, so anyone can play.
Halo. I have a portable version I can distribute via dropbox (again, link in my sig) so it's essentially free.
Left 4 Dead (2). We play it a lot, and getting eight people together for a versus game would be fun. Not free, but still.
Minecraft or Terraria. Shut up, it's just an idea :P
League of Legends [Free, Suggested by Hatz]
S4 League [Free, Suggested by Hatz]
Gunz the Duel [Free, Suggested by Hatz]
Savage: Battle for Newerth [Hatz is determined to find a game xD]

We'll probably do it on wednesday or saturday. On tuesday/friday I'll start a poll as to what game we play.

i dont use my 360 for online play and my ps3 got shocked . . . and im not gonna replace it anytime soon cause it ran out of warranty, so it is the gaming community in general, just the people talking don't use consoles i guess :/

What's nice about TF2 is that the classes are all so varied that it's really hard to be "bad" at it. You can just do one of the simpler classes, like the medic. The medic's main job is to point a big healy gun at the heavy. Not very hard. xD

I suck at first person shooters, yet I've been mvp in games before because I was on a roll for one reason or another, played classes I was good at, or flat-out got lucky. :P

GunZ was the **** back in the day because the glitches overshadowed the base game, and the glitches became the game to the point where you were considered amateur to play normally. You were continually encouraged to just keep pushing the boundaries further and further to find creative new exploits, in competition with everyone else.

Really fun if you like hilariously broken games. You need fast reflexes to keep up though, I haven't played in years but even the old techniques were pretty intense. Hackers were also a major problem when I left, hopefully they fixed that.
