MVC3, oooh let me tell you something that game, I felt ripped off. Really a roster of only 36 characters for 60 bucks? What the hell, MVC2 had more characters; sure some are just palette swaps of certain fighters, but its still better for that variety and price. Just to add to my pain, it didn't have the same head on feel as with 2. I don't care if both fighters have a similiar combat style or move I just want to see them go at it. Zangief and Haggar at it hell yeah.

Another thing that pissed me off was rejections for certain fighters who would be interesting to the mix and not enough character variety from both franchises.

I mean ****, Samanosuke from Onimusha, Gene from God Hand, Nightcrawler from X-Men, etc. If they add lets say 60 characters in total in this edition then I will by all means shut up be a tad bit satisfied and patiently wait for MvC4.

wait, why is everyone complaining about the 3 on 3? MvC2 had 3 on 3 and you all seem to love that game? Sure MvC3 was no MvC2, but it was a nice update to the series. Ahahaha!!!! Oh but I know, I fought him before in Ultimate Ghost N Goblins, Storm Fortress at the end of the stage, he was a bitch to kill and at the time he's known as Red Aramer. And Yes I was pissed at the roster, but I'm more pissed at 60 bucks for 36 characters (yes including the 2 DLC's) really I don't think thats my moneys worth hopefully this edition will hopefully be redeeming. Thank you for correcting the 3 on 3 thing, I think people are mixing up it up with TVC for the Wii.

Well the re-releasing I'm not going to complain about, seeing they do alot of that before DLC based games were made (Street Fighter 2, Resident Evil, Megaman etc.) Not a shocker, but the content is where it hits the spot. I mean if they made a badass title lets say DMC3 then re-release a special edition which is more badass thats good. But if the first release like MVC3 has little features to offer than release one that had more which should have been in the first product than thats fishy:confused: Now with SF4 they did okay, especially Super and Arcade edition, then MVC3 would have been just as good.

Well that aside I guess I'm looking forward to RE: Operation Raccoon City.:D

Erhm I'm confused here, MVC2 had 56 characters on the roster, yes I recounted the roster # on MVC3 it's 38 characters total. As for tournaments well I wasn't really focusing on that. What I was focusing on was variety amount, 56 characters to choose from has a lot more flavor to the dish vs. 38 especially in combination styles.

Considering this version is only $40 and has 12 new characters I'm gonna buy it. Especially since I didn't get the normal one because I was waiting for them to pull a stunt like this instead of having the characters as DLC.

Good you thing you didn't buy the normal one the first time around, you would be dissapointed with what it lacks. Yes, $40, more characters, stages, tweaked gameplay; Yeah a definite first day buy. Though the life bars seem smaller I won't let that stop me

MK 2011 is probably one of the better fighters to get next to Blaze Blue Continuim Shift.

It stays true to the franchise, gore, combos, fatalities and X-Ray finishers add a excellent addition to the mayhem.

Though I can't ignore such a roster even it's leaked...

Marvel- Dr. Strange, Nova, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Fist

Capcom- Vergil(DMC3), Nemesis(RE3), Phoenix Wright(Yes, I mentioned him again folks),Frank West.

Even though I forget to mention Firebrand, Strider Hiryu(My favorite), Ghost Rider, and
Hawkeye they were already announced and shown at Comic Con.
