I haven't seen 4 yet, and I'm excited. I also realize that the subtitle of the movie is THE LAST ONE. However, if it so happens that the creators are struck to make a fifth one, because they feel the urge, I'd like to make a suggestion...

PLEASE try to put a limit on the amount of times you use one show. I understand that the clips might be wonderful but seeing fifteen different clips of Death Note is hardly entertaining if you don't enjoy the show. I use DN as an example only 'cause I was looking at the list of clips and saw Death Note in the Series column at least ten times... and it's not a show I really care about but am familiar with so.

I guess this is a silly comment seeing as most people who watch this will probably appreciate the massive amount of DN/Haruhi/Azumanga since they're so popular.

Anyway, just a suggestion :3

Good suggestion but at the end of the day zarx puts in what he and ss want...while i understand and realize why you suggest this restriction, at the same time while penilize artists from making amv's off of currently popular titles such a death note and lucky star? While it too frusterates me, i can see why it was done and if this project continues into the future (i know, i know, hell 4 is the last one...but Jeff Goldblum did say "life...life always, finds a way") it will probably happen again. So i guess all i can tell you is watch death note and the others and learn to like em' (i personally STILL have yet to watch it, but vol. 1 is released in the states 11/20, so maybe i'll pick it up (that is, if i dont blow it all on Super Mario Galaxy, G.H 3, and the Wii Zapper...)).

i know what you mean, but i used amv hell since the third part to find
new good animes,
and i haven`t watch lucky star, befor i have watched amv hell 4...
same with azumanga and amv hell 3,

BUT, it doesn`t really matter.
these clips are always great entertainment, and if don't know these animes, you know what you must get, to be happy :)

AMV Hell 3 turned me on to Azumanga daioh as well, though I did start watching Lucky Star before 4. No, AMV Hell 4 turned me onto Death Note, which I still gotta get around to finishing.

the more i watch hell 4, the less i have a problem with the clip #'s...but no one ha smentioned the HUGE number of Weird Al songs yet, have they? I mean, between all of the Hell incarnations...a signifigant percentage has to be WEird Al, i'm not complaining, merely making an observation

(note to self: dont complain to hell-nerds about Weird Al, they worship him as a God and as such, his word is sacred Law.) ;D

I too have noticed this trend; thers does seems to be a certain appeal to using Weird Al songs in AMVs. Perhaps it's the added level of satire present in his parodies, thus increasing the humor of the video to three-fold (sometimes).

It's one of the laws of slapstick comedy that two jokes going on at the same time will cancel each other out. AMV Hell, however, seems to be overall immune.
