I have seen far too many "Abridged Series" with a 3 minute opening and 30 seconds of "jokes". Those are the least enjoyable.

Wait what? AMV's are anime clips arranged with music, or video/audio clips. they never have to be 30 seconds or shorter if thats what you were talking about. Thats just one of AMV Hells rules. Most AMV's I have seen are full songs. Some are a few seconds long and I have even seen about 4 that are over an hour long without being clip shows like AMV Hell is.

Aside from that, this episode was pretty darn good. The Nichijou and Baccano clips hit the spot for me, and combining the end of Azumanga with "Lucy in the Sky" was pretty clever. As sick as I am of seeing K-On, this particular clip was good, too.

But the video-game clips totally went in the toilet for me. I didn't get any of the jokes.

The Mortal Kombat one was fun to make, and I especially want to thank TigerboyPT for helping with this, even though he isn't part of AMV Hell in anyway, he isn't even sure what AMV Hell is!

He did the Visual Effects and I did the rough edit and the audio for it.

If its still up you can see the original where I posted the trimmed version. I tried to sync it up with the scene cuts, but overall it was kinda sloppy.
The clips true purpose was just to finally have something from MGS in AMV Hell. Hey they had Resident Evil n AMV Hell 4, so why not?
Next up Donkey Kong! Just need an audio idea besides Day-O!...

I'll be honest, its going to be hard to top myself on that Caterpie clip from AMV Hell 5. :sweatdrop:

I'm not faulting anyone for not getting it since I made it strictly for the sake of having an MGS clip in the series finally. I'm not even saying its clever, but seriously it was too easy. SOMEONE could have done it by now.
And I love Snake Eater/Subsistence as well. Its the one I've dedicated the most time to at least. Well, unless you count how long it takes to get through MGS4's cutscenes...but that's another story.

Would the scene introducing him as "The End" have been better than a random shot of his wheel-chair (Though I don't know if they have this scene, only played MGS2)?

I'd also seen it done better in Mecha Hell,

Where Anemone, from Eureka Seven, sings "This is The End, my only friend, the end" which felt perfect because "The End", the robot, is pretty much her only friend.

Though now I want to see "The Sorrow" with Scott Pilgrim soundtrack audio. "This song is called 'I'm so Sad, So Very, Very Sad', SOOO SAD! Thank you, this next one is called 'We Hate You Please Die'!"

Okay lol, listen. The Eurkea clip was suiting, yes. I've watched enough Eureka to see the joke. But then I saw an MGS4 clip in MEcha Hell and I thought it was awesome. It inspired to me to work on something MGS related. And just to clarify:
That scene, The End being wheeled out. Is literally his introduction scene. He does jack **** except sit there and sleep. They make a lame pun about him and then give you the opportunity to kill him early. If you don't, he becomes probably one of the best boss battles in the series. And he does get an introduction then "I am the End, I am here to send you to your ultimate fate!" But...I couldn't find that cutscene so...Ah, what could have been.

I could probably get you that cutscene but anyways I remember the first time my brother fought the end :P it took him two hours to best him :P
