AMD 3800+ Dual Core, 2 GB ram, GeForce 7950GT 256mb, SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer.
hardly.
How about throwing out what you're playing it back on and the codec. Playing the mpeg4, not the avi btw. Doesn't play in most recent Quicktime, DivX (where delay was), doesn't play with Window Media Player. Oddly, plays perfectly in PowerDVD. lol.

hahaha, your problem is easy to solve,
you must simple download new codecs, just download the "k-lite megacodecpack"

you're welcome,
k-lite MCP includes the "Media Player Classis,
it's an awesome player, with many functions, and full compatible
with all new codecs.

So does the CCCP -_-
I had a similar problem with the Azumanga Daioh web movie (downloaded off of Veoh). I haven't tried again since, but I figured it was just the file's fault, not mine.

eh, it's just I use Neuview as my primary player. and my comp automatically upscales video/audio (that's before newview's "enhancements")...so I havn't had a problem with audio sync unless it was a video I made myself -_-

VLC is one of the many things I toss together to build myself a god. Wikipedia and the FSM are two others, for example.
