I am using ubuntu (live cd) to type this out right now!
i am a BIG fan of the ubuntu project and i have to say ubuntu 7.10 is vastly better than 7.04!
I LOVE UBUNTU 7.10!

I'll take that as a no...

but Ubuntu Studio is an Ubuntu OS that comes loaded with video software, like editing and playing, if I'm correct.

Ubuntu is cool, but I using Mandriva 2008.0 since two weeks (before openSUSE 10.2)
but i must say, that every distrib. kicks ass, 'cause it's all Linux.

and can you help me, i need good video-editing-software for linux (KDE, rpm)
i still use Windows XP for that work -.-" and that sucks pretty much,
'cause i have only 256 MB RAM
(under LINUX no problem, but windows......)

Unless you have vista(then you would have a professional HD editing kit built in)
