Shes biting her ear. As to why, no idea, I&#39;ve never seen girls bite each others ears, but maybe I&#39;m just not hanging out with the right crowd for that.

Edit: Yeah, I&#39;m glad that as a boy I was never such a fan of Evangalion that I wanted pictures of the girls, that might have ruined me.

Personally, I&#39;m more of a fan of Rei&#39;s personality (the shy, quiet, and introverted part, that is) that how she looks, though I do like the way she looks. I&#39;m not as big a fan of Asuka because I don&#39;t like loud, in-your-face people in general.

Of course, I&#39;m probably more weird for liking who Rei is over what she looks like. >_>

Well, I would think Asuka would be the exact OPPOSITE of being realistic then, cause I can&#39;t honestly think of a 14 year old girld german or any nationality that would go onto the windy deck of an aircraft carrier with only a dress. And frankly I found Asuka more annoying then anything else, and she was far from the best lookng in any anime I seen. Not seeing your comparison between Rei and a doll. Then again, I don&#39;t play with dolls, so if thats your thing, go for it with your Asuka doll collection. ha HAWR!

The vectors are invisible arms that come out of a Diclonious&#39; back, I&#39;m pretty sure that they&#39;re controlled just like any other limb. They can vibrate at a frequency that allows them to cut through human tissue, which explains why they can just slice people so easily. I&#39;m not sure if they can see their own vectors or if they just kind of sense where they are.

Some of us like the danger. Beneath the cold blooded murderer, Lucy is an affectionate girl who&#39;s led a life filled with hardships and tragedy. Nyuu has the mind of a child; I&#39;d feel like a rapist if I did it with her, since she wouldn&#39;t even understand what was going on.

To the limb discussion, they&#39;re controlled by a part of the brain (pineal gland) that&#39;s much larger in a diclonius than a human.

reis body is a synthetic vessle for her personality. That is why she has been reincarnated (so to speak) so many times (i think she references herself as "the third one" at one point in the anime). there is that chamber in nerv that contains all of the other host rei bodies suspended in LCL fluid also...so she is a doll (in a matter of speaking)

Thirdly, (and this is probably what you meant, Matt, but I&#39;m clarifying it) Rei is actually the combination of a clone of the deceased Yui Ikari (how the clone contracted albinism during the cloning process is beyond me) and the soul of the 2nd Angel, Lilith, whose body is seen crucified at the bottom of Terminal Dogma. When Rei is "killed," Lilith&#39;s soul is somehow transfered to another one of those Reis floating in that pool of LCL and reactivated, thus the "I must be the third" comment Rei makes after her Eva is invaded by the 16th(?) Angel and she self-destructs to destroy said Angel. The first Rei was killed by Ritsuko Ikagi&#39;s mother (whose name escapes me at the moment; I think it&#39;s Naoko), thus the Rei seen for most of the show is the second Rei.

Apparently, a side-effect of this soul/personality transfer is that the newly-activated Rei has all the memories and such of the clone before it, but does not know why she has them. I equate this, personally, to something along the lines of waking up from a long coma and then being told you were awake the whole time, with your memories serving as proof.

And yes, Dicy, Rei is the ****.

After all, I assumed that &#39;flash cloning&#39; was what NERV did when they needed to replace body parts.. Also, for an angel, Rei wasn&#39;t all that great in combat... in fact I don&#39;t think I saw her do any one particularly signifigant thing in the entire series..besides shield that LOSER Shinji...Also, would a Rei clone (afterbeing bandaged up to make it look like she was being hospitalized) wondery why she had an eyepatch or arm cast? AND! when a character had one of those things covering their eyes.. lie Rei had almost every time she got injured, was it because her eye was missing and they just took a new one for her?
