Work on the first AMVB MEP is currently in the works, but we need more editors to contribute. Oh, don't get me wrong. The sooner we get this one out, the sooner we can get started on our next project (which, for those in the know, it will prove to be much fun indeed!). I&#39;m still finding it a bit funny that a new work with 90% of the people behind are rank newbies is compared to a work that that has been around for years and had the best of the org behind it.

Blitz 1 is supposed to compare to the other first works, not Hell 3 or 4.

OF COURSE Blitz 1 is going to fare poorly when in competition to Hell 3, dammit.

Heh... actually, thinking on it, a contest wouldn't be so bad.

A "blind" contest would be even better. Nothing as high stakes as quitting the scene (because that's wrong), but general e-peen (and the publicity) ought to be worth it.

It's have to be "blind" as, well, there's a bit too much of a slanted bias to make anything fair on it's own.

It'd have to be limited to a certain time or less, and with exclusive editors/artists/judges (also limited).

Blitz 3 rules are being written up (and clips accepted), Blitz 2 should be out by Halloween (AWA panel killed a clip and we have to compensate), and Blitz v1.1 should be at no less then 10 conventions over the next year, with Blitz 2.22 joining the list once it is out (I'm hoping to double that...)

For v1.1, It hit Hadien rather hard. Hard enough that Blitz HQ went a trial by fire learning his schema.

Incidentally, avoid the curse is the primary goal for B3, which has to be in AWA's hands by early september.
