So im looking at some mp3 players for christmas.(Tryin to decide what to get) So anyways i came across the "Samsung - P2 8GB* MP3 Player and Image Viewer" And was wondering if AMv Hell will be compatible with this mp3 player.
Here is the descrition.
Supports MP3, WMA and WMA DRM music formats; supports JPEG, MJPEG, AVI, MPEG4 AVC, MPEG4 XviD, DivX and WMV video formats
I know that my VLC player plays AVI files so does that mean the mp3 player will as well?(since it supports AVI ?)

I have a Zen Creative Vision:M and it is able to play most video formats including .avi which allows me to watch the AMV Hell series on it. Even if you have videos that aren't supported by it there is a video converter included in the software that comes with the MP3 player, except I can't get .mov files to convert to a proper format.

Yeah, your going to have to convert just about any video file you have I think. Either to make the resolution and bit rate small enough or to make it compatable. (right container/codec)

Whenever I need to convert files, I use MPEG4

I'm very satisfied with mine, it's served me well for almost a year already.
