I'm not sure if anyone's done a thread like this before...but whatever.
I'm not trying to get the nostalgia train going or put on the rose colored glasses for a moment...but hey, its gives us an opportunity to see how all of us got into AMVs and by extension the video series/website we dedicate ourselves to nowadays. I'm just doing it because...well, I don't know I'm just curious I guess.

I saw this video around the time Youtube was first established. In essence it got me into Youtube (418 Favorite videos and counting!) and later got me into AMV Hell. Of course at the time I was a high school kid enamored with Fullmetal Alchemist and only exposed to the anime's found on Toonami, Adult Swim, and the local video store. So hey, give it a watch, and submit the first AMV you ever saw...if you can find it that is.

I'm afraid that one my first one too... I had found it by accident by following looooooooong chain of youtube suggestions (just to get an idea, it started with me watching Weird Al's "Do I Creep you out"... After a good hour I had lost my anime virginity by watching the first episode of Azumanga Daioh and I had stumbled by accident on that video, which then led me to the "Code Monkey AMV", which finally took me to AMV Hell 3, which took me here... In short, the only reason why I'm here wasting my time is probably thanks to Weird Al)
