It was really funny to incorporate the Super Star music and the "vB-F, F-F-E-D-C, vG, vC" life lost noise from Super Mario Bros. into a clip from Bleach. But wouldn't that be funny if other music were used for that piece? Here's what I think would have been used for the clip:


Music from Donkey Kong: the Arcade Game--Hammer and Life Lost
Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis--Invincibility and second half of Game Over Theme
Kirby Super Star--Super Lollipop and Life Lost


Those were what could have made the clip even funnier.

I don't know; everybody knows Super Mario Bros. so I can see why that was used...

Besides, it's cool hearing old-school chiptunes in this instance as compared to 16-bit music--although Donkey Kong has SMB beat in that regard. Maybe if he was physically moving his sword up and down then that would have been more appropriate...
