Am I the only one who didn't enjoy AMV Hell 4 that much?

Firstly it had no AC/DC, or Mindless Self Indulgence (Pretty much 2 staple bands from other AMV Hells, (3, CE and 2 for AC/DC, and 3, CE, 0 and 2 for MSI)

Plus its a god-damn Mp4 file, why can't it just be avi or mpeg like the others?

Finally I don't think the clips we're particularly funny.

Feel free to disagree with me, but remember it's simply my opinion

Disregard the above, I have no sense of humor

;D

Did you actually listen to it? TNT, that was AC/DC. I'm pretty sure MSI was in there too.

Bah how dare you.

I love all the AMV Hells, they're some of the best stuff out there, but I just think better clips could have been used.

There is a direct relation to the hilarity of Hell 4 and the amount of different anime you have seen. If you're a Narutard and that's all you watch, Hell 4 is stupid. If you don't pick up on subtle humor well, Hell 4 is stupid. If you dislike in-jokes, Hell 4 is stupid. I'm not saying you fit these criteria, I'm just making an observation. Hell 3 relied on being ridiculous and having some inside jokes. Hell 4 relied on being clever and having a lot of inside jokes.

Well by that criteria it seems as though AMV Hell 4 purposefully set out to alienate those who may not have been open to many of the in-jokes and the like. The previous AMV's have seemingly relied on just pure humour, whether absurdest, or just surrealist.

And I hate Naruto. Its the worst form of 'anime' known to T.V.

ok honestly i think i enjoy AMV Hell 4 the most, at least for now.

Reasons:
1. It is the longest one of the series
2. It used a bunch of catchy songs
3. Yes there were in-jokes but they were funny
4. It showcased newer anime which is always good when someone wants to see what's out there
5. it is the last in the series, which sounds worse than i meant it to, but by it being the last it shows that Zarxrax does in fact know his limits and i respect him for that.

So yeah everyone else seems to dislike AMV Hell 4, but i for one enjoyed it, a lot.

(ps, any ideas on how to make a good sig?)

at first, i also though 4 was less funny, but after waching it a couple of times it became increasingly fun
now i'm at that point where i think 4 is the best version ever

The first time I saw Hell 4, I thought it was definately the best of the series.
There were some very clever, subtle and just down right funny parts.
Haruhi Time warp and Unit 02 'Crikey' I thought were extremely clever.

Not always a bad thing.

4. It showcased newer anime which is always good when someone wants to see what's out there

I agree on all points. And for the record, I never really meant to imply that I like Hell 3 more or less than Hell 4. In my eyes, they're both equally funny, in different ways. I appreciate Hell 3 for appealing to most any anime fan, and I appreciate Hell 4 for appealing to the fans of the obscure stuff.
