Is the money going to be donated, or is the money going towards his pocket? Couldn't this be grounds for a lawsuit?

The endless Naruto linkin park AMVs on youtube have shown us that lack of talent/skills/resource doesn't stop people from making AMVs.


The editing will not include labor intensive rotoscoping


I would hope not, could be making more money working in minimum wage.

Will a persons stupid idea be accepted just because they paid SSGWNBTD to make it?

I hope this is not true... or else AMV Hell has a lot of fail ahead of it.

Like Backmask said, unless he will be donating what he collects to somewhere like animemusicvideos.org or our website here, then it seems very stupid.

Could cause trouble one of the reasons amv's haven't been hassled is because they aren't made for profit. He might want to reconsider doing this or do it without bringing amv hell or amv.org into this.

There's a company that sells shirts with pop-culture references and internet memes on them (stuff that has obviously been created by other people) and they have a huge business and the only "legal" problems they had was 4 Chan launching a viral campaign against them.

Point is, it's not like people won't pay just because it's "obviously illegal".

I wouldn't, just saying there are people who will...

Hmm T's are a whole other realm that comparison is alittle unfair. Only thing illegal about T's is printing trademarks on them that arnt yours... Other than that SKY is the limit. Same thing applies to cars I can take the chevy cobalt and fully copy its shape and sell it under a different name. The reason for this is because Car's and T's are classified as Utilitarian.

Please... I've been working my ass off for more than one entire freakin' year to learn how to make decent AMV's on my Mac, and I've never felt as proud of myself as I did when I finally finished it. It wasn't actually anything much (you can find it on my youtube account, if you were curious), but still I've never felt such a sense of accomplishment in my life (I must have lived a surprisingly ****ty life up to now... D=) Having someone else do it for you just takes out all the fun and feeling that you actually accomplished something... Not to mention that, as everyone else said, I thought that AMV's were supposed to be non-profit...

Speaking as some one who is new here, it seems very weird that he would want to have people pay him to make someones amv ideas. It seems kind of like how amv nightmare makes ther viewers discretion videos. Except they dont ask to be paid :P
