Has anyone else on this board seen or heard of this book?

If not you really need to order a copy, i have a copy of both editions and let me tell you, the second edition has almost doubled the first edition in number of pages, series, content, etc.

Now i will admit it does have a few pitfalls, like how the Excel Saga entry said that puni puni poemi was coming out at the time the book was going into publishing but there is a full entry for puni puni poemi as well. But other than that it's an awesome source. So here is a link to the Amazon.com page for it:

http://www.amazon.com/Anime-Encyclopedia-Japanese-Animation-Expanded/dp/1933330104/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1198865746&sr=1-1

like i said if you don't own a copy you should pick one up, it's just worth it.

you could buy the book, but i'd rather go to animenfo[dot]com.
it gives you a lot of info about a lot of anime for free

If I want information about an anime I'll either go to animenfo,. Or I google the name and click on the wikipedia link :P pretty much information there most of the times. ^^
