That's nothing new COD MW3(Crap On Disc Modern Waste 3) is nothing but a wash, rinse, repeat. Same game engine with some different maps. I'm so sick of all the hype COD gets.

I play the first MW and it was ok, over hyped i think, but i have the same problem i have a bunch of friends who are brainwashed by it

I never really liked shooters, though the Half-Life series is pretty good, and I guess the Bioshock games are alright.

Irony, everyone complaining COD sucks when everyone including the people complaining will rush to buy and play it and love it.
To me COD4: Modern Warfare was 'ok' -hell I finished it twice it was so short and still didn't realise there were 'characters'. Mw2 was brillaint, it's story was as simple as could be but the way it was shown to the player without taking the player out of the gameplay was great, also the Nuke in MW2 was so much more effective than MW1's.

Everyone kept going on about Battlefield 3 being the end all and be all, and though it looks brilliant the single player (which is what I rate any game on) was so completely lame. Multiplayer will probably rock.

Aren't you all hipsters, except Fluffy up there. The games great and so are pretty much every other extreamly popular shooter, which is why they are mainstream. Same goes for just about everything else, if its popular its ether remarkably good or remarkably bad and something so bad wouldn't sell as well as it does per year.

I have a strong hate for all sports games, "just go out and play the game yourself" is my usual attitude towards sports games but I can't deny that Madden is a good game even if its the same per year with minor edits. Hating a popular game s not edgy, cool or even useful, ****s good if its good. That said I prefer Battlefield a great deal more but its running on a different player mindset type so its hard to even compare the two.

i defiantly not be buying it cause i would rather spend my money on halo anniversary edition cause it has a good multiplayer that is actually balanced unlike cod which is basically if you are high level you have the advantage

I don't get what this thread is entailing...obviously MW3 is meant to be another sequel to MW2. Otherwise, they wouldn't have bothered to create it in the first place. Seems a bit redundant though since all these ****ing people care about is how to make more money. Personally, I wouldn't even waste my time buying that crap since I"ll probably get bored of it after a week and throw it to my dog to nibble on.

This thread is meant to be pointless. Really I love the Modern Warfare series and still believe that Call of Duty 4 is the best game ever made. (Not MW2 but blah)

Honestly, **** the entire genre. I like playing first person shooters with actual content. Bioshock, Deus Ex, Half Life, etc.
